what do you mean?

I selected the Saphire Crystal 2824 version of the Raffles case as it's easier to mod - the crystal isn't glued in, etc.
My plan is to install 1016L bezel and a T21 Tropuc - so the Saphire Crystal will protect the inside of the case while hell reigns down on the outside and bracelet.

Yeah, re lume (if you can call it lume) and aged the dial surface, turned out quite well considering its a $35 raffles dial

I use a square needle file and wedge it into the hole until it grips.

Works well. sometimes you need to heat the case a bit to loosen glue, but I don't think the Raffles case is glued OOTB

I found that raffle dial new specs are very pleasant, except for the excess of mat varnish, the proportion are well respected

I'm impatient to enlarge the lug holes but I only have a 1.5mm drill bit.
Is that massively overdoing it?

1.25 is the nominal, work with 1.3mm max, after you will have a lot of play, try to find 1,3

Ok. Will do. Found a set on ebay; 1, 1.2, 1.3 so I guess I will be patient after all.

this is what I use and it's awesome. Goes through the metal like butter even at low speeds. I do a pass at 1.0 then 1.2 and end with the 1.3

Those look good and I've just ordered something similar from ebay - arrives Tuesday.
Going to get the Dremel in a second and do a bit of re-shaping.
The Rafflles crown tube is horrible - the crown isn't that nice either. Thinking about this Atheya crown and tube - worth it?
