I ask as I would bet that the 30.4 mm case back thread would fit the alix case I lapped...would be an easy 6610 case back with minimal work.

does not fit the raffles case set but perhaps the alix I dont have one on hand.

In my opinion not quite… your thicker-than-gen bezel is hiding what may be flat sides, but the biggest difference appears to be that your dome is more pronounced than the gen dome.



Having said that, if you prefer this crystal, you should use this crystal… nobody but you and literally a handful of people on Earth would notice, and the only one who would care is you…

This look more lobtime domed crystal, personnalité i like both, t21 and this one, i think it give a more vintage look

The bezel is WSO, not from you.

Apologies if I am mixing things up, but I was under the impression that the T22 was the flatter, later "service" crystal with the bevelled edge?

To me they change the design of the t22 during the 70s, and thats why WE see old t22 domed and t22 bevel for late 1016 and service crystal, lot of 1016 have a t21 as a domed alternate but not initially provide by Rolex to me more, more a watchmaker trick to have a domed crystal AT a fraction of the cost of an original dome t22 as they are very rare

Yes, it is a true gilt dial. You can’t compare it with a yuki gilt dial.
