Donor material. Quite cheap, ok it's a quartz (mecaquartz), but seems decent quality for the money. Not sure I'd trust the dimensions though.

I saw this one.
I would still go for Raffles for a 1016

That said, this addiesdive gave me the idea of making a "Dune- Arrakis" concept watch

Actually, if you wanted a good beat around work watch you could do a lot worse than this one at that price.

Question of the day:

I have and occasionally wear one of several Panerai watches...but I'll be the first to admit they pretty much all look the same to me. Quite a few Omegas, which I love, and odds and ends from all kinds of watches, from high end to under $50, rep and gen.

That said, why is it that I can get excited about every odd variant on either an Explorer or a Submariner?

It’s the sign of a discerning gentleman 🧐….
Explorers are like tickling your lover with a feather, Panerai is like using a whole chicken…

I bought this on M2M
supposed to be a viet bracelet 7206

It's pretty and nice. with the proper 7 holes on the clasp.

I have no idea how to adjust it apart from the micro adjusts on the clasp. Any clue? or is it just like this?

Looks pretty nice. I would definitely try and loosen the rivets safely to resize it. The easiest way is to pry the the center links, and it's doable, but it'll never be the same.
It's definitely Vietnam and/or genuine (spec) quality. If possible, practice on cheap a Cartel to get the feel of what's required.
It's folded metal for the links instead of a single hollow link or solid link. Intuition tells you to pry it open, but I would not recommend. Don't ask me how I know!
If you do, at least use some wood before going straight to the attempt of reshaping with a screwdriver, ball peen hammer, etc.

Thanks
The links show some slight tool marks already. For the moment I don't need it. I will probably put this in a build and let the buyer figure it out. If someone has a >16.7mm wrist it will fit with the existing links
