My Pagani uses a 31mm dial so 29mm dials are a no go. That Baltany however looks very nice but it could be a 31mm for all we know!
True, I contacted Baltany and asked. Will update on response.

Update:

你好,朋友,因为这个数据我们没有测量过,不是很清楚,非常抱歉
"Hello, friend, because we have not measured this data, we are not very clear, very sorry."

Was the answer. However when counting pixels measuring the 36mm case against the dial it comes out to 29.3mm so I'm guessing it's 28.5mm or 29mm since I tried to not skimp when measuring.

Came across this, and since I always seem to struggle to remember which case uses which crystal, I figured someone else would so I'm posting to share. This is a list of crystals used by various Rolex ref numbers (although some crystals are often "correct" with different numbers, since Rolex Service Centers didn't always order off the menu when doing service and repairs).

And for cross reference the numbers from the Sternkreuz catalog:

Man alive, I just watched a video of "how to remove/install" hours/minutes/seconds hands and it scared the bejesus out of me. Maybe it would be best to do a Raffles build from scratch and go from there. At least I can replace individual components should I mess them up

Do the Raffles cases come with crystals already fitted?

What dial is that? Source?
I agree, but my question is how did you get that texture? It's almost always overdone when people start misting a spray can.
The texture looks way better than normal.

Not implying the lume isn't perfect!

Thanks....I can't take credit for the dial....Marco / @madasboot from Singapore over on the homage forum made it....not sure he's still making them, but @Fizz also on the homage forum makes wonderful true gilt dials.

For the record and thanks to this incredibly rich thread and its contributors, I just paid for my first order at raffles (and I'm just at page 105...). Ken's been very fast and helpful. You guys are unbelievable, keep it up.

It is with great pleasure that I announce that this thread has been stickied.
The amount of knowledge and sheer technological improvements and sharing of members shown here is incredible.
Case reshaping/reworking, dial and hands aging, etching/engraving, dial making, parts development etc., it's an unparallelled collection of great techniques.
It's overwhelming and I and @daytona4me felt like the effort had to be rewarded by making it a sticky.
Honorable mentions include (but are not limited to):
@369mafia
@1016 lover
@dpd3672
@316lad
@Geonor
@Karbon74
and of course @ebzen02 who started it off almost 4000 posts back.

You guys, together with many others, thanks to your willingness to share your experience have made of this thread an incredible resource for anyone endeavoring in modding, a resource that probably has no equal on the internet.

Fantastic job.
