I don't think Raffles has any idea how many 1016s the participants of this thread collectively own and how much pent up demand there is. He's going to get hit with so many orders of multiple sets that he won't know what happened.
@1016 lover makes an awesome oneThat woud be really cool with the hands. Even cooler if they were curved
if theese hands age going to be made ill probably have to switch back from NH35 to ETA. I heared from manodero there are some low beat clones out there. I personally am still very interestet in the perfect bezzel, hopefully ill get arround asking some machine shops very soon
I have some of his good work ;-) and they are really nice but i still want one that is basically the WSO one with the chapfer on the underside. The 1016L is slighly too flat for my taste and gives every crystal a slight "Top Hat" vibe that i personally am not the biggest fan of. BUt i agree that it is so much better than the stock raffles one.@1016 lover makes an awesome one
He Recently released a ver 2.0 a few pages back. check it out its similar , just slightly thinner baseSorry for the bad quality but this is esentially the look i personally am going for. This is a modified WSO Bezel lathed on the underside. UNfortunately it is not completely even as you see because of a slight imbalance of the lathe. Also as you can see the crystal cracked under pressure ;-) but hey what is this thread without a new project eh?

Awesome news.I heard back from Ken. He is going to talk to his parts supplier and see if he can get a batch made for us!!
I asked him if he can also do for NH movements
in both silver and gold with white lume
This is fantastic. Thanks for bringing this to him.I heard back from Ken. He is going to talk to his parts supplier and see if he can get a batch made for us!!

That's very good news! If they make it with perfect measurements, we might not need to pick parts from multiple hands sets and rack our brains anymore.I heard back from Ken. He is going to talk to his parts supplier and see if he can get a batch made for us!!

be glad they are not gen parts that would be ouch!!Sounds like it’s time to replace some hands in due time! I have 3 1016s right now, ouch to the wallet!
Thanks so much!! Also NH? Otherwise we should put up a tutorial on how to adapt ETA hands to NHKen emailed me back :
He will ask the factory to make the longer watch hands in silver with white lume at first. The minimum order is 300 sets . There will be the long holiday for the Chinese New Year and He hope that he will get them in the end of Mar.
Hour and minute size is the same but you need to tighten the eta seconds hand from .25 to .21. you can do that with a fine pin vise and a broach if you go too far. Thanks so much!! Also NH? Otherwise we should put up a tutorial on how to adapt ETA hands to NH

Thought to use a 3d scanner on my gen set, but no way, i have some accuracy trouble, i can send you this drawing if it can helpI was reminded recently by @GenuineFool that a number of pages back that you guys wanted me to ask Raffles about 13mm hands . Early last year Genuine had done some drawings for some hands and was going to contact factories but he thought perhaps his efforst could help raffles with a new product offering as Helenrou seems to be sold out of them all the time.
I spoke to ken and he replied with his 12.5 mm hand set I explained to him how you guys are super picky and that .5 makes all the difference and I think he will look into it with his connections to see if we can get 13mm offering from raffles. to fill the gap.
Ill let you guys know if Ken is down to do a run of these for us.
Would you say this is on par with the Yuki dial? The new MK2 from Raffles is definitely a step up
Not speaking about fidelity, but speaking from a hobbyist perspective.Would you say this is on par with the Yuki dial?
