Hint : who made the thread?Sorry to bother u any idea where to buy this
WOW that looks so good. Who did the plating for you?Love mine, plated to match Gen color
There is actually no single or definitive “gen color”. The rose gold used by AP can differ from batch to batch and even between same models in the same batch.Love mine, plated to match Gen color
This. The only rose gold that differs from this is the Everrose from Rolex. Again, not all of them but a lot of them. There is actually no single or definitive “gen color”. The rose gold used by AP can differ from batch to batch and even between same models in the same batch.
Once used, the colors will differ even more as it’s affected by temperature, sunlight, moisture, body salts, minerals etc.
My rose gold gens come in different shades and each one is still gen.
Big step, but I wouldn't hold my breath on getting this into an actual working watch. Someone did some magic in adding a balance wheel, but then also cut off or hid the spring regulator? It's not free sprung, so not sure how this modified movement will keep time, much less function over an extended period of time.Looks like a modified THB movement with double balance, no clue on price but a very big step
Perhaps in an effort to expedite the V2 which corrected the seconds hand and the spelling error on the rotor the THB factory are doing things quickly and carelessly. Just something to watch for but for the drunk guy engraving on the rotor I don't think we will be able to reject on that basis if they are all similar now. At least is spelled correctly lol and seconds hand fixed! Will wait for new QC.
Can confirm you can’t read the letters without a loupe. it’s a struggle to make letters out even when using itYou are right. This is badly done.
It’s an interesting point you raise. It wasn’t that bad on the old one. It has the spelling mistakes. But it’s impossible to see these letters without the loupe. Maybe I’m getting problems with my eyes haha but i can’t read them without a loupe in real life.

Yes, here is an example. In the pic, it is a gen 26420OI (43mm) vs a gen 26238OK (42mm).Yeah it seems like Rolex RG is very different to others
@legend any chance we can see the difference in shades out of interest
I agree with you Sir, even in Rolex, when new the Rose Gold shade is pretty light and pink but on older examples or depending on the ambient conditions of the wearer it can turn much more cooperish.Yes, here is an example. In the pic, it is a gen 26420OI (43mm) vs a gen 26238OK (42mm).
The 43mm is newer by about 6 months, both were purchased brand new from the boutique. You can see that the 42mm ROO has a hue which is more reddish and the 43mm (about a month old in that pic) has a light straw gold color. There are other gens with a variety of rose gold hues.
My point is that there is no definitive gen rose gold color as it is a very reactive metal, but a range of colors which appear in gens. Any colors within the range will be "accurate to gen".
