I have a THB V2 15407 on the way. I thought about this exact thing, adding a ZF balance wheel with the fake balance wheel weights. I wonder if this would work. If I had to choose just one mod, between upgrading to 2 balance wheels, or just having one with fake weights, I would prefer just one with the fake weights since it's so noticeable from the front. Does anyone know if swapping to a ZF "fake weight" balance wheel is possible? Any recommendations on a WM that could do this exchange (if it's even possible)?

Another thing that's bothering me is the case shape on the THB V2. There is way too much space between the bezel and the end of the case by where the bracelet attaches. The gen is so much thinner. Instant tell for me. Anyone know of a modder who could fix this?

As legend has pointed out, if you want a 1:1 gen, then buy the gen. Even without these mods, I will still be happy with my purchase. Just like many of my build/franken endless pursuits, I'm always trying to get my rep builds closer to gen. It's part of the fun of this hobby!
I also would be interested in some kind of modifications like you pointing out. Despite the balance wheel will be moving when you wear the THB version to me I would prefer the ZF balance wheel to replace it.

I also agree the case shape is an issue for me and would like to change that but not sure that is possible. Might just need new case for the THB movement. Not sure which case is best maybe APSF 15500 or ZF 15500?

I am no watchmaker but it doesn’t make sense to me adding fake freesprung balance, it will make the watch inaccurate because there is still extra weight on it and since its fake you cant regulate? Also we never saw any freesprung movement on stock rep watches and i doubt thb will be the first to do it, it would be too expensive for them and for the consumer in the end. Dont wait for some v3 release it will very likely not happen just get one modded if you really want one.

Who can advice what case by what factory is best for this THB movement and will be closest to gen 15407 case dimension. My assumption was maybe the 15500 case by ZF or APSF but someone with better knowledge can perhaps advice.

Atm there is no case from known fsctories. Ask popup or other dealers known for offering mods for custom cases. But they will probably be around the cost of the watch or even more

THB Factory has released their AP Royal Oak 15407ST and 15407OR with the latest Skeleton Asia 3132 clone movement, which is based on the Asia 3120 superclone movement. It is close to being a superclone 3132 movement, but it does not have a double balance wheel feature.

Currently the best skeleton AP 15407 you can get, with real see through movement.

Here are some pics for your reference, and you can view more pics and video on my website once they are ready. =)
THB AP 15407 - Trusty Time

Sorry, a Royal Oak without the Tapesserie dial doesn't make sense to me.

Good point. However I like the APRO case/bracelet design and the skeletons as well as the tourbys too much to skip these kind of reps. 😎
The AP tourbillons are one of my favourite aps. The reps are a little thicker but that’s not a big deal

Where I need to be.
I’m building a 15407 with the double balance wheel movement, corrected bridge at the 5 o’clock area, and corrected case/bezel geometry.
Here is a pic of the movement which will go into the build. It’s already available from some Chinese vendors and nothing new.

How can you rate the finishing of the movement in person?

I will rate it about 7/10 if gen is a 10/10. Of course my work includes refinishing the bridges as well. Can I bring it to gen spec? No I cannot as the base material used are different. But I can bring it to an 8/10, maybe 8.5/10 at best.

I want one. How do I place an order for the modified movement? Also, @legend are you able to do anything about the case shape where the space (on the bracelet side), is too thick? See pics below.
