This website give a 10% discount for same days on everything, prices looks good.

I exchanged some mails and noticed they have agood stock and prefer to sell what they currently have.

I asked to some watches and they said they do not have them, some other dealers prefer to say "wait and I'll order it"

It seems a good attitude anyway, the watches in stock are ready to be sent in 24/48 hours, maybe they wanna clear some stuff. :cool2:

I agree. What is the deal? Robert can get almost all of these pieces and I am sure that Hont can get them all. Why go anywhere else? Why take the chance? Baffles my mind.

Roby69 if you are Italy you are in the replica blackhole.
No one outside the EU can successfully ship to you on a regular basis due to your customs laws.
So unless you are buying from an EU dealer you are peeing in the wind regardless of price

Ignorance and blinkers.
Being trusted here does not mean that other dealers automatically cannot be trusted. Only that they are not vetted and on the list - yet.
The dealers here are not all perfect, and there are dealers elsewhere who are very good.
I have never dealt with asian7750, but it is healthy when members here do and then provide feedback to the forum so that we can update the list of trusted dealers.
If we just stuck with the dealers here we would slowly wither away as dealers change over time.
So well done those members who dare to test other dealers - and to provide feedback here.

I have bought many reps from Tony. He's fast and has access to the some of the same factories as the other chinese dealers. Even stuff he doesn't have in his site he can source in a day or so. Pricewise he's usually at par or lower then most of the vendors that deal thru web sites and his crazy sales (probably overstock) are hard to beat. Some of the dealers in the forum like WBK would have better prices, turn around and support though (but may not have the same selection).

He does very good QC, he's very fast to respond emails, he's English is very good. Post sales support is great.

I don't want to get into the whole trusted dealer issue because that's a hornet's nest. All can I say is that I had issues with other dealers that have been recommended but none with Tony.

Yeah, why in the world would you want to use some tried and tested dealers who have gone through a thorough vetting process and for which there's tons of feedback here? I think it's a wonderful idea for you to send your money to completely unknown dealers around the world. It makes perfect sense. Please let us know how you go...

Look there are always 2 sides on this "trusted dealers" debate.

1st off there is an added benefit to dealing with a trusted dealer here. You have 21,000 other members who are behind you when the dealer stops responding to your communications. That's huge!

The 2nd part of the equation is that if we don't venture out and seek that elusive red bearded snipe, we won't know about those great deals that others are getting.

So your free to do whatever you want here, really. You just have to ask yourself if your willing to fore-go the brotherly help of 21,000 other enthusiasts.

Is this our Tony of WE by the way? Similar websites.

You know, I think he is one of the trusted dealers on one of the forums, but dont know which or what his other name/site may be. He still doesnt show some of the latest versions on some watches. But I have always heard good things about him.

With so much stock, variations over time and so much traffic on sales, it's nearly impossible to buy a watch based on a stock photo anymore. That's why I like dealers who photograph a watch before shipping, have the watches on hand and delete(s) the listing(s) after that stock is done. I have'nt purchased a watch from a dealer in a while but if I do, I deal with one that sends me pictures of my watch.

We all free to take our own decisions with our own money and I respect who takes the jump with an unknown site, but in general :

+1

If this new site offers QC, emails pics before shipping and guarantees shipment why not?
Although if he is the same dealer as in WE ... oh well dont let me start again about WE, just use search...
I'd personally try to contact PT or Narikaa, they send from UK, QC and send pics.

Agree, not defending Tony here (I have nothing to gain and to be honest I'm very happy with Stan right now) but he does take a picture of the watch on request. His website is not great and it's clear that he doesn't spend too much time on it. Many watches I bought from him were not listed. I give him a link and he tells me if he can source it or not (usually for a lower price then what's advertised on other dealer's sites).

He's very knowledgeable about what the different factories are doing, what improvements exist, what are the differences on the same models from different factories (movement, finish, details, etc.). I'm shopping for one right now that he's saying it out of stock and the factories are not going to produce anymore. I can bet I'll be out of luck to get it.

I have tried a few trusted dealers with different results. One in particular (that I won't share the name) had my money for more then a month and couldn't source the watch that was suppose to be on hand and saved for me (I was even told the watch was in QC right away). Once he/she finally got the watch I ordered it was nothing like the picture (very cheap looking and I thank the dealer for sending the pic before shipping). I decided to cancel that one and get a different (higher end) watch. Again after a few days I get a picture that is not what was on the site (cheap looking again). Needless to say I had to cancel the order and thankfully my money was refunded promptly.

I think dealers are like our styles of watches. Not every dealer will work for everybody and of course references are always good. However I have learned that you have to try it before you can make up your mind.

Cheers.

"no one outside EU" - therefore you should be looking up Naarika, who can ship from UK. I just got a PO from him in T'land and received it West Coast USA in less than a week. Happy. (He is on buying trip in Asia as we speak.)

I agree it's not a bad idea to test another dealer occasionally, just not to waste forum time & resources bellyaching if it doesn't work out. Only reasonable question for forum is as above - 'has anyone dealt with this guy/gal before??' A brief follow-up at the end of your own thread to tell how it went would add to the collective knowledge. Just take it like a grown-up if the non-trusted dealer turns out not to be trustworthy...
