That's something I'd buy E. with all the bigger thicker watches coming out now, I like the thicker straps.

Nicely done again!

I love the vintage leather look on these straps. Especially the black one.

I wondered when someone would rep the XaMas buckle. Looks like you've done it. Very nice!

Let's go against the tide. I'm not particularly found of that buckle. As in "the buckle will prevent me from buying the otherwise nice strap".

I'm not "in love" with the buckle, but it won't keep me from buying one of these. You can only have so many "Pre-V style" buckles, ya know?

Look great E - nice thickness :)

Speaking of which - this is the opposite situation, what would you recommend for the older 3646's?
- these don't sit will on the wrist w/ too much thickness...

Also, do you know of a dealer who sells decent slim straps (18, 16, 14 etc) for Pateks - with gold/RG buckle available?

i would like to update my original post

i think with the thickness of the strap the stitching should be bigger and more heavy duty. i like the buckel, it is like davidsen's. it is more comfortable for me and doesn't hang ang bang on everything. maybe this thick strap would look good with the bigger one, but i wish you would use this one on your normal straps. atleast offer it for sale so we could cut the buckel's off of our straps and use it if we like.

I like the shape of the buckle, but I wish it was a bit bigger overall.

I second that. The straps look great E but I also agree that the stitiching should be thicker

New Strap

We tried it with the Thicker stitching and it looked a little goofy.....between the new buckle and the thickness the stitching took away from the look.

I have worn it and I can always make the stitching thicker but it is one that is just right in my not so humble opinion.

As for 14-16-18mm straps....I make them all the time.....no one has gold buckles as usually you use the same buckle that is on the watch and move it over. We do a lot for IWC Big Pilots....one of my factory's does the straps for IWC.
