Looks brilliant, what do you think of the bezel colour, pics look brushed and also shiny which is good to the gen? And alignment?

The bezel color is virtually identical. They are really close, if they aren’t identical, which they might be. They look a little different in the pics because of the lighting. The rep does have a shiny brushed looking bezel and I’m almost positive the gen did as well when I tried it on. It’s a little hard to tell in the photo but from my memory when I tried on the Gen I’m pretty sure they both have the same finish/color on the bezel.

In regards to the alignment; if a person wanted to be really critical of the rep and knit pick it. The arrow at the 12 position might be off by a hair or a fraction of a bezel click. I am far from an expert, but it appears that it’s not 100% in alignment but it is very, very close.

I would love to hear what others think after seeing both watches side by side. In conclusion, I am extremely happy with the quality of this watch and how comfortable it is on my wrist, and unless you were really set on having a Gen version, I just don’t see the value in the Gen over the Rep for this time piece.

What do you think about the movement?Does it rattle when winding?
What I noticed so far is that the top of the second hand is slighty thicker but barely notable.
However the outer ring of the bezel(shiny part) is way smaller on the rep.

After having the watch for 24 hours and spending a couple hours playing with it; the bezel action seems to have noticeably improved and become a lot smoother than when I first got it. I’m hoping that over time that it will continue to loosen up a little more and become even more fluid. One other thing I’ve noticed is that the arrow at the 12 position is also lining up a little better and the alignment issue I first stated has become virtually unnoticeable. The accuracy of the watch seemed to improve from when my TD sent me my time grapher results. The QC pic showed the watch being +7 seconds and now over a 24 hour period set to an atomic clock I am getting -1 seconds over a 24hr period. I guess the watch just needed a little time to break in.

Great to hear some feedback after some wear...all sounds promising!

Hopefully my blue dial will arrive tomorrow so I can provide some feedback!

The blue looks amazing! The pics that the TD's are using on their websites for the blue are giving it a great disservice. After seeing close up pics on your wrist it looks fantastic in blue.

Completely agree buddy, I kept going back to intime website and checking the pics whilst it was in transit and to be honest was regretting my choice of blue given the pics are very ordinary.

Then I received it this morning and a quick strap change to the gen am I'm thrilled with it!

I received the watch today and I’m floored!! I thought GF had hit a home run when I received my blacksteel but after getting the SS version today I realized the GF hit it out of the park with this watch.

The one gripe I had with the blacksteel version was that the bezel action, which isn't bad, but not as smooth as the gen version I had tried on. GF seems to have corrected that issue in the SS version and now the bezel click is much smoother. The only noticeable flaw I see in the SS is that the triangle marker at 12 is slightly larger than the gen version , but that’s not a big deal to me.

SS GEN I tried on a AD
