Also on the onewatches markings on the bezel do not look aligned...12 and 9 look good but from 6 all the way back round the are off. Could just be a qc issue?

I am waiting for my order for a blue watch. I don't expect to see it soon while GF fixes the color.

Cheers for the comp...GF did an amazing job with the gmt II. I picked up the blacksteel version and also went gen straps and deployment colour, brush is spot on.

Keen to hear to new GF released versions stack up!

Care to share how you would fix this?

If I'm not mistaken, the only way to tell shape diff off the wrist (without gen side-by-side) is by watching for the white touching the inner edge of the bezel.
So like a dab of enamel white paint (heck even nail polish if your gf happen to have the right color) pretty much does the job.

Sorry to disappoint if you're expecting some expert recraft your own ceramic bezel level type of handiwork lol.

Does anyone know if GF plans on correcting the date wheel in the black dial version? I almost bought one this morning until I noticed they used a white wheel on the black version. I will definitely pick one up in black if they correct it.

I really love this watch - but the white date wheel on the black one ruins it for me.

I also really love it, but that white date wheel is such a disappointment. It's odd, the date window on the black steel version is correct! why didn't they just pass it over to the SS version. Instead they produced a completely new date wheel for the SS version that was completely wrong!!!!! :straightface:​​​​​​​

Just heard that GF bought a blue version to create this rep and it does not have the date wheel flaw as in the black.

I see a SuperOcean 44 black steel by GF over on Trusty with a black date wheel. It is item BSW0355

Try asking your TD to get you one with the black date wheel. A few times I have asked for a specific change and received what I wanted. Sometimes an up charge or just a longer wait.

I just sent my TD that exact question. I'm curious to see if it is a possibility to make this modification at the factory.

I am as well. Option 2: Buy the watch and a black date wheel. Have a modder change it for you.
