I like that 74 strap you made recently. Would you be able to make something similar and ship to US?

Shipping is bloody expensive but, hey if you cover the costs we can work out a deal. Dm me for details if you wish.

Here's a rare one.... It's a hardly worn signed Adeeos that was made from a 'pull out ammo strap'. If you are not familiar with what a pull out strap is, it's a long strip of leather that would have been tucked under each ammo magazine so that the soldier could easily release the magazines from his belt by pulling up on it. Obviously these straps would see significant wear and were replaced often. As you can see there is a significant amount of cracking and patina, while the inside lining is perfect. It is an incredibly soft strap, considering its age and hard previous life...

I am yet to see another, so if anyone has one - please post some pictures.

Was it always like this or only during covid times?
I am from Poland and I shipped quite a few straps to US, they usually arrive in 10-14 days. Phil is from Bulgaria so one would think the difference in shipping time should not be big.

That’s my experience as well and I am in the USA. For a while things for slow but they picked back up again.

Although things are changing all the time and the us post office is going through constant changes in rates, policy, countries they will and won’t ship with that might make things complicated.

But my experience with dr Phil is yes he will make custom sizes in most straps and buckles and shipping is not too bad.

What’s the “cheapest” I can get away with if I want a thicker 22mm leather strap? Most of them are really expensive and I can’t justify €100 on a strap right now

I’m loving this strap from Cordes. Not my strap but I am just appreciating it. You gotta love a strap with a good story.

And this is a new addition here. Picked this up off Karlchen and I kinda love it. Just put it on the 1033 today. I’ll test it out on another reference tomorrow. Or soon.
