Their date windows are off and their deployant straps suck also the hands give them a cheap look. Better off with a rep.
I have a Pepsi bezel GMT and Nav B Uhr and both are great. Build quality makes them feel more expensive than they are. Looking at the resale prices out there they seem to retain their value too, especially in CONUS probably because of the wait time for a new one.
I always liked the ocean one but never got around to buying one. Recently when checking their site they have released a ceramic bezel for the watch. Now I'm more tempted than ever.
I am a big fan of steinhart . I have an ocean 1 and would have ordered the 47mm bronze chronograph in an instant a few years ago but they were sold out before I could reply to their newsletter alert. In my opinion the quality is superb for the price and I prefer the 42mm side, just a bit bigger than Rolex submariner but noticeable
I had a the vintage military and vintage red steinhart. Both are good quality but i did not find them comfortable on my wrist. With the straight lugs they don't curl niceley on the wrist and felt top heavy to me.
Ove looked at the ocean 1 red a few times. I will probably end up buyon one. I think its alot of quality watch for the money! Best homage to the submariner?
Sold my ocean one GMT a couple of weeks ago on fleabay. Had multiple offers in two days and got nearly full asking price. Lot idemand for these such is the quality.
yeah that one went real quick and I was sad to see it go, but funds went toward the gen sub I ordered this morning so all for a good cause!!!
