I was told that the H maker is in fact cheating and a sandwich dial in reality and two pieces. Yeah it looks like the recession may have gone to far and the cut lines are really hard like a rep sandwich dial (gens are much softer) Really have to reserve judgment to see in person or the same lighting but yes that H maker for sure it a whole new dial and looks much different than the Noob above or mine vs gen. Perhaps there is a way to soften those edges taking the dial apart slightly then re matte spraying it as it does almost look more like a sandwich then a painted dial.

Everyone has got to realize that these macro pics were taken to highlight some specific detail in an artificial setting... otherwise, this watch is stunning in normal lighting conditions and a no-brainer for the price!

I went to compare my new Hfac to to a gen 000 today and there is still a clear difference in the gen it has more of a dip with lume softer on the sides. where the h fact still needs softer more of a dip on the sides. but still better than before

I think they have come a long way with these h fac luminors. The finishing is just amazing. Hands down it blows the noob watches out of the water. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX. I have decided to just keep my 000 after getting one old case.

Will post pics of my new H Fac 415 later (much later, probably not today).

Compared to my old H Fac 112, the case is that bit nicer in terms of fit & finish. The CG lever has less of a snap to it, but it's okay. What looks to be the case with this watch is that it's a new case set with the old Pig dial and Tokyo boutique caseback. The lume is definitely raised and basically looks the same as it does in the big KW & H boutique comparison thread here (from any high res gen dial photos I've seen, the gen is slightly recessed and filled):

So, slightly disappointing from a dial point of view, but it's still a lovely looking watch with the vintage cream indices, markers and branding.

Oh, and the rubber strap I got with the watch does indeed reek of stale smoke (the rep asso is fine, however).

Based on all of this I've just paid for my h-fac PAM005.
It really is a no brainer. True super rep under $200.

Holy crap! It's almost too good to be true but Sead's now offering all the new Hfac models for 159. I'm guessing that this'll make a lot of people buy a new PAM.

I knew I'd buy from Sead and about 5 minutes after the watch arrived, there'd be a price reduction. Gah! Still, can't complain, these watches are well worth the original price, let alone the frankly ridiculous price they are now!

Current prices are really good
But don't go wrong !

There are a lot of inconsistencies regarding the quality of the new batches and mixing old and new parts
Maybe due to that prices are decreasing

ANYWAY, NICE REPS (ALWAYS SUPER REPS) AND A TRUE BARGAIN
But you should be willing to accept some old parts or flaws
