Semi relevant - does anyone know whether the updated 415 stocked by Sead has the pig on the dial? It's not clear from the pics in his thread in the dealer section. Does this look like a generally decent rep?

I have an important dinner tonight. What tie colour is the most appropriate?

Satin merlot red, can't go wrong. Wear whatever colour shirt takes your fancy that will go with it. Don't forget to wear trousers, that never goes down well.

Anyway, my main concern was that the pig wasn't on the dial (which wouldn't make a lot of sense if it wasn't, I know) - which I now see it is after looking at the pics on my desktop (and not the ridiculous screen on my phone).

Also, not really sure why I posted the question in this thread in the first place (noob took a wrong turn).

Thanks ewing for this interesting pic trying to match the mikewatch's gen pic

I think Noob is very close

The only (external) difference could be sharper edges of the markers "cavities" to put the lume material. Gen cavities seem deeper and with more rounded contours

Anyway, last rep sausage dials from Noob and H maker seem really closer to gen than old ones which were completely inaccurate

Good and big step forward !!!
a NEW TIME FOR SAUSAGE REPS IS OPEN !

This is awesome! Subscribed. BTW, I like to call these dials "Filled" instead of Sausage. Sausage is more of a pile up over the surface or am I wrong? ;) What the heck do I know, I'm just an Omega junky. lol

BTW the reason for those hands on the Noob is that it I put on a K series CB and replaced the hands but it is a 4 month old Noob dial.

Hi There,

I have been lurking here for a while doing a lot of reading. I never liked Panerai but somehow started also reading in this section and well you guys completely changed my mind so thank you for that. I guess Panerai is kind of like meth because I have become totally addicted to it. I went with the PAM005 N from noob. I saw someone sold a noob dial back in 2014 that already had the slightly recessed lume application so I guess H-factory and Noob have the same source for the dial. Anyhow I finally received the watch. I tried to do a macro shot from the dial and that is the best I could do with my camera. I must say tho that I find it kind of hard to even see with the naked eye. The lume on the hands appears to be a slightly different color tone you can't really see it in this picture - is that normal?

Lume looks "old" sausage style to me, nonetheless a great watch. Wear it well! :)

By different lume do you mean when charged? That's more common methinks.
Anyway, they should be perfectly matching although nothing is perfect in repdom ;)

I ordered an updated H fac PAM 415 from Sead yesterday. Shall I post pics when it arrives (or indeed QC pics if I get them)? As far as I know it should have the same changes as the 000/005 so might be of interest in terms of case construction/lume application.

Danza please post pictures of the lume structure on the 415. I'm still on the hunt for the 416 and want to know if I should go with H fac pending updated lume structure

Received the H-Factory 005 on monday. This is a pic of the dial so you can compare to the one of my noob a few posts back.

Is it me or is the H fac dial over recessed? Lol. How does it fare under natural light? The font on the dial is really good and pretty much accurate.

That 6 does look heavily recessed from those pics. Almost like a sausage/sandwich hybrid!
Any chance we could get a shot in natural light?
