Hello Everyone,
I'm fairly new & very thankful for all the info here & Reptime.
I'm very perplexed about my skin reactions to my new & very first Rep, a VSF Submariner 124060, bought for $551 from Steve-Theonewatches. I had an excellent experience with Steve btw.
Perhaps it is some kind of manufacturing “defect” on the metal or maybe it’s radioactive-LOL?
I really want to get a few more Reps because I think they are beautiful, fun & present good values. I planned to wear Reps daily & save my Gens( Sub Date, No Date, Vintage President 36 mm, etc. ) for more special occasions. I'm also very impressed with how the VSF Sub 124060 Rep( 2nd to last pic ) compares with my Gen 124060. Pretty much indistinguishable when worn on the wrist.
I appreciate any helpful suggestions.

- I actually own a Gen 124060 bought from my Rolex Boutique in October 2024 & I have never had any skin reactions to any watches or jewelries in the over 50 years I’ve been alive.
- I have cleaned the bracelet thoroughly at least 10 different times.
- I do not wear my watches tight at all.
- I even tried putting a new plastic sticker on the caseback
- I also put a band aid on my wrist & STILL got the skin reaction-->>tried it with & without plastic sticker on caseback.
- I get these skin reactions after only about 30-60 minutes of wearing my VSF Sub on either wrists.
