Hi all SGPs,
I have a AP Dive 3.5 and am looking for a watchsmith to relume, change movement to low beat 2824 21.6 beat and waterproofing anyone knows where I can get it done? Any contacts or info will be greatly appreciated. Understand Spinmaster does quite a few mods but does he do the above? Worried on a job badly done....TIA

Not sure how long it takes to reach Taiwan.

Spin does movement swaps, as I have mentioned in my previous reply.

Hi. Im from the Philippines. I'm new on this forum but definitely not a noob when it comes to forum etiquette and behavior. (I'm usually active maintaining my Android Development threads over at xda-devs) I don't post unless I have to as I prefer reading and learning while finding my own answers on questions that have been asked more times than old timers care to hear about and is already stickied, wiki'd or in an FAQ.

I'm new to the Rep world though and love everything I've been learning the past few days. Too bad I learned of RWI a day too late as I bought a DSSD from a local dealer (not sure if they're on RWI as well) who doesn't know squat except what her supplier probably tells her. The Rep I bought "supposedly" comes from the UK (yeah right! All Reps are probably made in Asia) and knowing what I know now, is probably an early Noob Factory version from the specific M serial on the Rehaut by the 6 marker. While I do feel bad for not finding RWI before I did, I'm using that first Rep as an opportunity to learn more about the game. :)

In fact, I've found a local watchsmith who is willing to service the item for me. (General cleaning, Movement lubrication, silicone greasing, sealing HEV, Relume of dial and bezel pearl, waterproof testing) Hopefully he's as reliable as others who have used his services say. (Mostly Gen owners from a Gen forum I got the number from) As soon as I sort out the bracelet issue with the local dealer, I'm sending this DSSD to the watchsmith and hopefully get it back in better shape. I'm not keeping that Rep though as I've found another one on RWI that I'm looking to buy as soon as my clients' check clear by months end. The Rep might go to another family member who is just happy to have a watch that keeps the time and looks good on the wrist too. :)

hi pongster,

glad you managed to find this little community of ours, well at least its better late than never. i too stumbled on this forum after purchase reps from night markets, getting conned in the process. well anyway do feedback on this watchsmith's work esp on the reluming portion, if it turns our well, this watchsmith will definitely expect to see more work being sent to him as then we will have other avenues to get our "kick" other than just a small handful based in Asia. enjoy your stay and feel free to post any queries you might have here and we'll chip in on the replies!

Pongster! Good to have you here! Mind sharing your currrent location? I'm currently based in Makati now, could you recommend me your watchsmith? There is only one which I currently trust in Manila but I guess he doesn't do mods! So I hope to hear from u soon! Welcome to RWI once again!

I'm based in QC. I haven't tried the watchsmith yet. I've just contacted him and he does seem to be willing to service the Rep I have now. Not sure he will do any serious mods like I've seen here but he does seem to be open to servicing Reps in general. What Rep do you have now and what mods were you looking to have made?

Which watchsmith are you referring to? The guy at Makati Cinema Square? I got the name and number from PWC. Try contacting "Mang Boy" from the PWC thread. (If you don't find it, let me know so I can PM you his contact no.) I contacted him since he lives closer to where I'm located. :)
