By the way the one on the left is a confirmed gen coz part of the liquidmetal number 6 on the bezel came off....ouch.. Haha.. This can happen to liquidmetal if part of the ceramic bezel got knocked hard onto something and rubbed against the liquidmetal number which I think is what happened to the gen watch in the video. I've seen that happening on some liquidmetal Planet Ocean models too.

Hello everyone,

i finally collectet my V2 from the postoffice yesterday but i couldn't take any pictures yet.

But here are some things which i noticed and they have updatet from the V1:

- the area between the lugs is now brushed like gen

- they updated the metal bracelet, which is more like the MKS version now (like it much more

- dial is now more grainy, but still too greyish compared to gen. but it depends on the lighting condition. But its still noticeable compared to V1
(just my opinion there: the upgrade to V2 is not really worth it if you have V1)

- NATO-strap is the same like V1

I try to get some adequate pics in the right lighting conditions tomorrow.

All the best,
sev

edit: the clasp on V1 was a bit smaller then the gen one, which have been also fixed in V2

Thanks for the pictures, what is your impression btw between the V2 and gen?

Do we have feedback on this 8400 clone movement? Reliable so far?

Thanks

Hi everyone,
as promised here are some pics.

Other than the missing numerals under reflection on the bezel, the next big tell is the lume being sandwiched under the dial on the V1 and V2 rep. Whereas the gen lume is filled into the cutout and not sandwiched like the rep. It creates a sandwiched effect on the gen, but it isn't. I have the gen as well and the hour indices is really nice to look at up close. No doubt the V2 is the best one yet. But a pity they haven't found a way to fill up lume within the cutout markers like how it's done on the gen.

Could you pls share some lume pics?

Have the gen non spectre as well. Rep looks close not perfect.

Quick question, if the SM300 Spectre or standard version comes with the bracelet, is it easy to take off the bracelet or is a special tool needed?
