Look forward to seeing your thread mate! On first glance the bezel teeth look sharper/crisper/deeper on the gen, and the text on MASTER Co-AXIAL CHRONOMETER looks sharper?

Hello guys,
here are some pics taken with my phone.

first of all: the lume on the rep is pretty good. this pic was taken after ~10 minutes walking in sunlight and going inside.
(shown with a really great suede strap from Donerix )

DyqcZSo.jpg

here after being fully charged next to the gen. the colour is really close and it last's quite long so you can read it waking up in the middle of the night
(left rep, right gen)
xUN9C5q.jpg

here are the dials again.
as you the the rep has almost no texture but personally that dosen't bother me as much as the noisy rotor and the stuttering (which only accurs in some positions... if the watch is laying flat there is no stutter at all)
due to glare the rep appears a bit brighter as you can see on the straps.
the rep is a little bit lighter under normal circumstances but not that much noticeable like in the pic.
ngoHmll.jpg

the teeth on the gen are a bit "sharper" from the apperance and the surface feel.
but the rep looks quite good
... not to forget the unpolished crown which a friend of mine who works in a dental labortory (they do a lot of polishing metals ect.) hopefully can get rid off.

V2EE41j.jpg

here are the movements.
sorry but i wanted to let the protectiv cover stay on the gen and removed the serialnumbers ect.
please note the missing "stainless steel" on the rep
tk6hoyz.jpg

i hope you like the pics and if you have any wishes and questions please let me know

Awesome pictures! Two questions though- first off, it seems to me that the rep's watch glass is less reflective than the gen's, is that true? And secondly, the bezel seems more matte as well on the rep. Again, might just be lighting... Thanks in advance!

Thanks man for the pics and the review, here my conclusions

Pros:

- The dial is so f**** perfect wow.
- Bezel looks better wider but makes looks the whole watch smaller than de gen, this would be perfect on 42mm.
- This is crazy but the back looks better made and crisper on the replica, maybe is because the plastic protector, if only could be a better movement.
- Lume is perfect.
- AR is perfect.

Cons:
- Crown looks a way better shinny as a mirror.
- Theets make a difference, I dont know wich one looks better than the other, but that makes me recognize the rep from far away.
- The gen strap is a must, so if someone cant get one is kind of frustrating and will makes the rep looks cheap.

So anyway, wow is just an amazing rep congrats to V6F!!! very well done guys!, I hope you continue working like this on all you reps!! clap: clap: clap:

And I have one question:

¿What about the SS bracelet, is the same quality? (I do know about the TM, but I mean the quality)

PS: I bought one from Intime on may 9th and cant wait to put my hands on it, I mean my wrist lol.

Does someone know if bezel could been polish with cape-cod? I am scared for fading the numbers.

one more thing...
between the lugs...in the rep is polished...original is not...
said before but the inner ring also must be a bit thicker...
after all these fixes, the watch will be hard to recognized as rep... :)
very nice shots btw!!

I'm glad you liked the pics guy's

it seems to me that the rep's watch glass is less reflective than the gen's, is that true?

maybe this seems so due to the slightly different angles but the gen have the edge over the rep under artificial light.
but this means that the rep is really good! ;)

the bezel seems more matte as well on the rep
yeah its a tint more "greyish" but if they are dont lay next to each other even i could hardly tell which one is the gen hehe.
it really looks fantastic. and it dos not have much play in it if you move it, which by the way feels really good (even the gen is not that crisp compared to uni directional bezels)

for me the "biggest" giveaways are the unpolished crown and the noisy rotor.

¿What about the SS bracelet, is the same quality? (I do know about the TM, but I mean the quality)
sadly i dont have the SS bracelet from this watch, but i have the polished centerlink 20mm version of my normal seamaster 300 rep.
overall its ok and does the job but the fine adjustment was a bit notchy.

EDIT:
between the lugs...in the rep is polished...original is not...
Yes you are right, i didn't noticed that yet but the rep ist indeed polished!

The polished crown is an easy fix. Does anyone have any thoughts on how to quieten down the noisy rotor though? It seems to rotate far too easily too which is a bit annoying

how could it be easily fixed?

Sorry, I meant easy for me as an engineer I have access to buffing wheels etc. and as the crown protrudes the case access isn't an issue. TBH, scotchbrite then a cod cloth would probably do the trick.

is there a risk of damaging the logo?
and what is TBH?
it would be really interesting to see the results[emoji1303]

Light pressure and a bit of polishing compound shouldn't round the logo

TBH - To Be Honest :)

My solution to the crappy NATO is a metal bracelet [emoji4] personally I wasn't into the bracelet at first but after receiving one finally I love it so much more than the nato. Easier to put on / take off, extremely convenient to adjust the bracelet throughout the day as your wrist expands. And lastly it has amazing construction and looks very GEN
