In China theres always funds to be made. Labor and materials are on the cheap there, as are most products. Thats not to say everything coming out of there is crap but alot of it is very poorly made.

Labor rates in China have increased substantially, to the point where the manufacture of low skilled products like clothing and shoes is moving to lower wage countries.

On a side note the US is now the low cost producer of plastic because of the low cost of natural gas here.

For those that don't understand. It's always been Sub's nature to to play devil's advocate in these types of things and for that we thank him. We have seen some deals gone wrong in the past and I think Sub is just looking out for all concerned. This thread will work it's way through the dross and if anything it will more than likely be great for business given the maker's reputation. As usual I have no clue about any of this but after 7 years one is supposed to. Opinion given anyway.

Now pass those filet mignon eggrolls....Please!

The reason I posted up on RWG was to get a feel for everyone's opinion about Luth because in all fairness Luth you do come on like a freight train, but to my surprise those guys over there, some participating in this thread really think highly of you Luth and they have full faith in you to produce a quality product that their all highly anticipating..... I guess that's really all that matters.... TB has made his position clear so RWI isn't effected negatively......

Hell, I've been arguing with Luthier ever since I did my time as a Mod over there and we both left for not such different reasons. But I still stick my nose in every now and then and have been watching this venture unfold.

I disagree with almost everything Luthier says when it comes to politics or social issues but when it comes to business or guitars, I would trust him with my life savings (well, almost). And everything he's done on this project has been way above board. To compare this to any previous watch run that went bad is just wrong. He's done this whole project out of his own pocket and not asked for a dime from anyone. Sub, on this one you're just plain wrong.

I read the thread over there and came to same conclusion. If Luthier would turn down the intensity a notch or two he seems like he's probably not a bad guy. I don't want anything as much as luth wants to be right about everything.
