I've had two of these DG5833's last two years without any issues. The mod from the workhorse base DG2813 is minimal, just a single extra gear to drive the GMT wheel and a few extra intermediate wheels to set it. I would not call this movement unreliable. I've seen and read about many more true clone 3185/6's with issues. But time will tell us more as the proliferation of the Sky-D movements increases.
I was wondering about the reliability of the CHS mov(noob), and the true 3186 mov(arf, vrf).
I have two noob gmt chs, both broken, the hour hand doesn’t jump any more and the watch stopped at around 21:40.
I asked once to toro if there is a lot case like mine, he said never met before and I’m a lucky guy.
How does the new 3186 perform? I had a vrf 3186 but have been sold.
My watch smith told me that even the gen 3186 have a lot case just like mine.
