I always check out RG first, then RWI, then RWG2 then if I really have nothing better to do will check RWG1 but that place is like a zoo.

Until I came over here I didn't know about the reputations of the different fora. Which one is RWG1?

Yeah but rwg2 i.e. rwg.cc is the real one ;) ....All the forums are good in there own ways, I don't know how some of you guys restrict yourselves to one forum, too much happening in the rep world for just one forum to be enough...just imo of course :D

Yep, it's all rep wearin' sex, drugs and rocknroll over there :D Still good stuff though....it's that 'wristcheck' one I can't make out....very cloak and dagger stuff over there, I've never even managed to see a single thread...and looks unlikely I ever will now as it's in lockdown. wtf are they hiding over there?

I had no idea that wristcheck even existed until today. I didn't feel compelled to register to see what was going on.

I think I like the rg site cause 99% of the time the guys are simply gentlemen. Corny maybe but th members treat each other with respect. The purchases I've made from rg members have all been flawless. Plus I like the sites layout it's easy on the eyes. Maybe it's just familiar! I've heard people talk smack about this site but so far even with a mass invasion of geeks on it nobodies been like get the heck out of here! Comments on posts seem to be a little less in depth but the members have not been anything like I thought. So far it's pretty nice over here but I go hope rg is back up soon. What the heck is taking so long? Hope the server didn't lose its info. You would of thought there would of been a back up server?

The mods over at RG can be a little bit heavy handed, and flaming/trolling does seem to be strongly discouraged, but it's a nice place to be if you play nice. I struggle with that sometimes, but it really does make for a nice and useful forum. This forum is pretty similar in terms of cordiality and friendliness, though some of the other ones seem a little less so.

I think I just prefer the forum layout on RG or like you say maybe I am just used to it as iv been a member 4 years, and as mentioned there are some true gents on there. They always seem to go that extra step to help I.e if you open a thread in search of a small part you've lost or damaged your not given a link to where to find one, instead you receive a PM Asking your address as someone is sending you one for free. But I am sure there are many I the same over here.

There are many true gents here also Chris, always willing to lend a hand. I've yet to meet nicer people anywhere outside of RWI.

That said, wherever you lay your hat..........

I like to think of the combined fora as one big happy family. Afterall we share a common interest and, therefore, there seems no point in any rivalry. Whatever forum rocks your boat is good by me mate. It's nice to know that we and others can always be relied upon to offer refuge when things go tits up.

Here's hoping that RG is up and running soon. In the meantime make yourself comfortable in the knowledge that you folks are always welcome.

All the fora have their own flavours, like fine wines we can all enjoy them for their own distinct nuances. :)

I think one of the only bad things on this forum is the stickies. They are so long when you log onto a topic that you scroll down scroll down scroll down then finally get to the current posts. Then when you click off that post you start the process over and the stickies are really long, helpful but long.
The RG mods I've heard can be heavy handed, but I've never had a problem with that. I was a admin on a forum for many many many years and there is often two sides of every story. New mods on forums can often be a little quick to the draw, but admin should "control" the forum. A gentle reminder to a mod can go a long way from admin. At the end of the day its a bunch of volunteers. I like having a admin/mod forum team that doesn't put up with a bunch of BS. But they shouldn't rule like a dictator either.
Did Sylar change his RG name, or isn't he around anymore? I also haven't heard from Dtan in awhile either.
