I wouldn't pay too much notice to me as there are members far more in the loop than I, but, I would bet against any upgrades as I don't see this model being a very big seller for them ( however beautiful it may be). The planet ocean is the Omega people seem to go for.

I have been trying to get my hands on one but apparently the Cr SMP 300Ms have qc issues. QC issues like bezel alignment, bracelet problems etc... This was told to me by a TD.

sadly this is true. Insert/Bezel is off on nearly every watch a TD receives. but that's something that can be corrected by yourself or a trusted watchmaker. the bracelet is another story. the one i received is fine except one link that always looses one screw. but as the bracelet is to big for me anyway i got rid of this one :)

They reserve that technology for more expensive models...like the LMPO, hence the name liquidmetal. Maybe further down the road this technology will trickle down.
Bologna sausage! ;) That liquid metal is another filler metal. The process for the ceramics is identical depending on the metal used. LM or other. The liquid metal was the first and development process for all that follow. So I highly doubt Omega would start printing on ceramic. Maybe a plasma spray? IDK but it would be silly to go backwards.

I just received my QC pics.

Unfortunatly the bezel alignment is off:

Is this something I can fix myself? (I'm completely clueless about watch repair, etc.)
Or should I ask the dealer if he can provide a watch which has no such issues?

Because otherwise I think it looks fantastic :)

Or are there any other things I should keep an eye out for?

@yakuu- bezel plate pops off very easily, bezel insert can then be removed by pushing from the back, apply glue (I use double sided tape) to back of insert and reposition back into bezel plate, bezel then just clicks straight back onto watch, very easy job, search online for how to remove bezel, I just use watch back removing tool and place between lug and bezel then prise off bezel, advise applying tape to lug to prevent scratching.
If you are waiting for a rep with perfectly aligned bezel you may be waiting a while!

You got it, apply some masking tape first to protect case.

He´s a watch assassin! What a way to treat the watch....real killer....
Ok, it actually works and was instructive, but please use a nice Stanley knife (much better grip/precision) to do this with a bit more care (and You can previously cover the lugs with tesa-film).
Have been using this method pretty easily on vintage Rolexes, but actually did not know on the Seamaster it just works the same. Thanks for the vid:)

I have accidentally scratched the bezel insert on mine, any way to get a replacement?

You have to put the bezel back on first THEN put the insert on. Probably will not line up correctly if you marry the 2 before putting back on.

And a short video for more real life view of it...

The watch in this video is stunning! Is the video of the gen or the replica?

Pap, what color is the bezel on the rep? Is it the same as in the video (kind of darker blue)? From your wrist shots, the bezel looks more like it's a lighter, brighter blue, but the later QC pic in the thread looks darker.

Does anyone have a more recent one they can comment on / post pics, as Pap's bezel looks more engraved than the later QC pic?

Been a while since the original post. Noticed the OP stated his had an actual Swiss ETA. What brand is this? All I can find are the Asian ETA clones. Anyone know if these are still available and where I can get one from? Thanks for the original post. Can't believe how good it looks.

Got mine and love it. It can even handle a hideous nato:

Looks perfect on a leather nato
