Review of the Noob Superocean II 44mm

I thought you said in an earlier post that you ordered one of these, were all waiting to see if it fits, hope it does. As soon as you know I think they'll be selling a bunch of those watches if it's s quality bracelet and it fits, fingers crossed, let us know when you get it

I have a steelfish with a pro ii bracelet I picked up a few weeks ago for $200. That bracelet fits but the gen comes on a pro iii.
I just ordered the new Superocean chrono that comes with the pro iii bracelet. The gen bracelet for the chrono is the same as the Superocean ii 44 so it should fit. The chrono was ~$300.

I ordered it from Trusty Time. I know they are not a TD on this board but are on others. I have had good luck with them.

Below is one of the QC pics I received. I'm a bit concerned the end link doesn't look like it should (look at the middle) but I will have to wait to see it in person.

Hope someone with some money purchases the $118 watch from trusty Time Andrew that Tigerfan posted above and post their findings on how that bracelet works.
I can't imagine that the quality of that bracelet is going to to be any good, would be nice to know.
The watch looks so good with the stainless bracelet, I'm anxious to find a cheaper solution than a $300 watch or original bracelet.

I couldn't get my steelfish endlinks to fit.

The holes are like 1mm ish too low, so the bar can't seat properly.

This was quite hard to photograph, but you see what I mean? You can't see the entire lug hole when looked through the end link ports.

I had the same problem on a ladies Rolex Pearljust , I had to bend the barrels slightly to make it work, it was a MoFo to fit.
Your watch looks great, I can't stand the rubber strap, makes a beautiful watch feel like crap on the wrist.
Thanks for taking the time to take the pictures really appreciate it.

Just purchased the blue version. I assume a gen. Pro 2 bracelet will fit? These can be had for around 350- used. Also got the band with a clasp as I prefer this over the tang buckle.

I ordered a Pro 2 from a TD next door, I think it was $75. I will post some pics this weekend. I am thinkin I would rather put a Pro 3 on it, but he couldn't get just the bracelet from the watch that TT had listed.

Finally got mine. I ordered pretty early on in early Jan and got caught up in both CNY and then seized in customs. I posted this over on RWG while waiting for this site to return so I am just reposting what I posted there. BTW, I am still interested in a Pro 111 bracelet, but I am not willing to pay through the nose for it. I like it on the Bakeka and will just wear it that way unless I can get a good bracelet for a reasonable price. Even then, I still like the watch on the strap and may keep it there much of the time.

Ok, not really much of a review, but I will post a bunch of pics so you guys can see how nice this watch is. I had a brand new Bakeka waiting for this one and I was in such a hurry to take it off the rep rubber that I didn't even take pics of it that way. My Bakeka strap is a bit tight on the lugs so it was a bit of a challenge to change. For that reason I'm not going to change back (at least right away) for a pic of the crappy rep rubber that you can see in many other pics.

Everything about this watch seems really nice. Movement sweeps nicely, date and time change smoothly and Date clicks over @ about 12:15 so no real complaint there. I have had it for less than a day so I'm not 100% sure but it seems to be running about 12-15 sec fast right now, no biggie. I have 7.5" wrist and after wearing a Pam 111 for the last month or so this thing seems very reasonably sized and very wearable. I measure it at exactly 15mm thick and 44mm in Dia.

It was Watchfinder. He got me the Pro 2 Bracelet and a rubber strap with the deployant buckle.
