I think someone should put together a tutorial on how to do the crystal swap properly with simple tools. I've never taken apart a PO before and it would be helpful I would imagine.
And R2 just found the newer eta date wheel is available! (the ones look like 11 not like l l) :bounce:
Can you put me on the list for one? Looks great!

This tutorial by Olworthers is exactly the same, just follow the steps. Just to note, it is recommended to have at least a cheap crystal presser, like the $15 one that can be bought on ebay will do fine. Many have managed to press a PO crystal (they are not the most tight of crystals) by hand, or against a table edge or kneecap etc, but it is probably better to have at least something that will ensure even pressure all over to secure water-tightness. Getting the original crystal out is easy, just pop it out with the thumb. Keeping finger prints and other craap such as oils and dust off the PO crystals is harder than actually installing them.
I don't see my name on your list yet as I've arrived late to the party, but if there are any left I'd like to be on the list as well.
thanks.
Will do it tomorrow or tuesday if that's ok.
