Yes is true!My stock RAF Kermit. I love the classic shiny look, which reminds me of the days when watches were for wearing, not investing.
Actually, I take back the coronet being centered perfectly. It looks left-justified again, but not as much as the previous clasp. Either way, it's been approved.Just got QC of a different watch, I went ahead and approved it as it's as good as it's gonna get. 12 o'clock marker looks a little crooked but it's not a big deal, the previous one I got looked like it as well. Could very well be the angle, I'm not too picky anyway.
The tube flange seems to sit a little better in the case, and the clasp coronet is centered perfectly. I'll show more detailed photos when it arrives. This update is mainly for posterity.
Right justified.... Jeez, I'm going to bed lolActually, I take back the coronet being centered perfectly. It looks left-justified again, but not as much as the previous clasp. Either way, it's been approved.
following. did you upload the photos already?I have a gen 16610LN. I can’t wait to put them side by side. Truly.
As the movement is in both the 3135 the datewheel thickness should be the same. Or are you referring to the font? During the long history of the 16610 there were variations in the appearance.just a question, is the datewheel in gen 16610 thicker vs gen 116610 ? or should it be the same?
Eagle eye over here!Yikes bro, better take a look at this.
Wow.... I would never have noticed... XD Yeah...something to look on it..Yikes bro, better take a look at this.
wow gorgeous! would you say there is noticeable difference in case shape? how about the bracelet?
Looks beautiful. Enjoy the anticipation. May sound a bit pathetic, for me so far the most iconic submariner of this century.Joining the the 16610lv club once this baby arrives. Ordered a RAF from Hont, he told me it was just a rebranded ARF and said he could get me one of those but who knows what is the actual case at this point. So here we are with a GL'd ARF instead €420 shipped.
Now I only have to obsessively check tracking every day for a few weeks.
