Got to say whatever counter you have the watch looks great. QF have really upped their game with this onejust arrived!!!!
How's stock Xtal on these? I'm dying to pick one up but not sure if it needs deep or I gotta go gen. Im also slightly worried about the tungsten WG wrap, but as far as I've seen on here, no issues yet?
and if deep is necessary then can I use an 11 series Daytona xtal or is there a special xtal for 12 series? I asked cTime if they could install deep on it but they were unsure and also told me they cant source gaskets.
I'm just trying to figure out what is required (xtal and gasket) in case I want to swap down the line or see if I can have a TD drop one in for me (preferred)
any links for this stuff would be greatly appreciated in PMs or in this thread for others, thanks!

I think the stock crystal on the v8/v9 is great. No milky ring at all. I don’t think there’s any need to replace it at all.
Thank you, now to figure out what TD to use.... super excited the 24hr subdial finally is here, and WG wrap from factory!
I am awaiting QC pics from TrustyTime, keep an eye out for my progress and pics when arrived

Hard to see how it could be better overall. Imagine it will at best be some bits a tiny bit better and some opposite like most top reps
QF pushers is it's weakness. Clean dial could be better. And also pricing. These QF models tungsten/non tungsten are murderously expensive.
Lastly unconfirmed but movement could be something to look out for as well.
I’d much rather the dial was better. But I can see them being both excellent. I don’t see clean being cheaper than the V8 in steel which is less than £625 all in with payment discount (CNY etc)

Agree it’s epic as is … weight better than v8 … it’s not perfect … movement would look epic with correct bridge and free spring and a better gold rotor … they a dead give away .. the rest is very nice and pleasing to look at it definitely not a disappointment.. the clasp is not a smooth or gen like as clean ! Buy a band swap it ..
