Does anyone know the correct gasket size for the gain weight version? I had my modder replace the gasket, but unfortunately it's sitting very high and doesn't look good. I'm not sure what to do at this point because the guy calls himself a professional modder, but seems he's unable to do the most simplest mods.

@xZeroCoolx thanks so much for posting your results with the Deep crystal. Would you happen to have a picture of the side of your QF Daytona 'Le Mans' after replacing the gasket to show the height of the crystal? I'm curious because in your picture the height looks a little high and was wondering if it's just the angle or that is expected with any gasket used with the Deep Crystal. I made a quick comparison and I'm pretty sure my crystal shouldn't sit that high, but wanted to confirm with you since you've done literally all the testing lol

Will a clean bracelet fit the ss qf? Or would there be any benefit to the swap?

Got mine today. Regular version. To say that I’m impressed would be quite the understatement… I think it looks fabulous OOTB.

There’s simply nothing that bothers me enough to want to mod it. Something I couldn’t have said when I got my Clean 126500. I immediately wanted to get rid of the stock crystal.

Granted this one has been re-plated but I got it like that and probably wouldn’t have bothered to do it if I had gotten it stock.

That’s a great rep that will stay with in the rotation for a long time…

QF must be doing something different with these bc I couldn’t wait to replace the crystal on my QF 126519.

Is it just me or do the pushers or crown guard look better on the regular model as opposed to the tungsten? I'm no eagle eye

Also is there Sunburst on the apsf?

Ewe of ewf !!! The dial face is the major downer .. sharp markers , 24 has 2 markers top , rolex crown looks like an emoji.
The gold rotor looks nice but has much less ball bearings and 3 funny screws !!
But the winder and pushers look well places and no milky gasket …
The price also good . If it had QF dial and fixed the rotor issue it would be good .. why don’t they ask us before releasing it … can’t be that hard to correct all these issues !!

QF, APS
See the pusher to crown guard gap on QF…pusher Should be angled, almost touching the crown guard:

QF, APS

Yes, aware of the APSF 24 dial flaw. These are just to show the case differences. At least APSF is 1:1 case
Are these both SS models?

Thanks boss!

However, truth be said I do upgrade some of my pieces but only the few ones that I know I'll be keeping after having spent some time wearing them. On these I'll typically get a gen crystal but only if it makes a significant difference compared to the rep (For example it's not financially justifiable for me to upgrade the crystal on a VSF sub). For the rest (dial, hands...), I'd try to source better rep parts if available.

But my general rule of thumb is to just enjoy it as it is (if it's to my liking ofc). On this one the overall look of the watch is great so I don't see the point in modding anything. The gen crystal will undoubtedly look better (gen is gen after all) but I am more than OK with the stock one.

Besides, when it's such a heavy hitter there are so many other tells to anyone who knows their stuff that the quest to "genlikeness" is hopeless.

I've said it before, for the Le Mans, QF really is nice, but for the rest of their entire catalogue, it's quite disappointing. I wouldn't consider them for anything but the Le Mans and maybe one or two Oysterflex models.

Of course, the exception is if you're looking for the weighted tungsten case, then ok, QF is your only option.

Clean has released almost all new Daytonas already, so look forward to comparisons coming soon.
Waiting patiently for Sure Be great if some here has direct contact with the clean factory to at least know if they do intend to make this beautiful watch …

That’s not the crown that comes outside too much. This is the crown that still screwed-in on the tube and this is actually the tube that unscrewed from the case.

The factory didn’t screw properly the tube and not put theardlocker for sure.

This is an easy fix anyway
Already sent back to Elliot. He said he will take care of it. THANK YOU Lukko!
