I agree its beautiful, but the crown guards are too short, and the pushers angled wrong.

And it looks good on Oysterflex, put the end link fit has huge gap, sorry. These end links may not be for 12 series case, or the QF case is not 1:1

Honestly I never really paid that much attentio, I know that sounds crazy, never knew the 24 was just decoration. I’ll reset it tonight and see if it counts 24 or 12… don’t hit me too hard(just didn’t know)

It’s a 12 hour count, just marked as 24… I really wouldn’t have notice,, I do run the chronograph all the time

It’s unlikely any of us have a practical use for a 24 counter but I just dislike the idea of it being functionally incorrect.

It was technically quite hard for Rolex to make the change from it being a 12 to 24 hour counter. Rolex had to implement a 2:1 plenary gear reduction in the space normally taken up by a simple transfer wheel.

It’s extremely unlikely that rep factories would go to those lengths for such a niche model.
