I tried and tried, and unlike my other watches, I could not see the laser etched crown on the crystal. With a gen, you can simply hold it up to the light and immediately spot it

i couldn’t see mine until I used my most powerful magnifier. Thats how faint it is. It’s too faint. This is what I used, a handy,cheap tool:

How good is the case shape and bezel compare to gen? Do these have the same issues as the GMF 40 DD?

I wouldnt say its the same tone as gen, its more pinkish than the gen, rootbeer is more brown, wouldnt say its has a lighter shade..its just more red hue, for me its good color..i wouldnt be scared wearing it, in far almost the same but if you look closer its more pinkish.. but im satisfied what i bought. For me QF plating is gorgeous straight out of the box and its heavy i can feel it.

And. The YG is a bit paler than the gen 18k color I compared it to. The gen has that slighter orangey tone,not overkill,but more than this. This resembles 14k a bit more Still very nice and remember gold varies, so it can still be believable

Just compared it to my new Raffles bracelet I attempted to put on my old DD. The color is the same so if you are satisfied with the YG of that,you'll like the YG QF DD

Yeah I’ve given up after waiting 6 or 7 weeks of “Qc pics coming soon” promises and changed to one of the new clean bimetallic Daytonas.

I’ll maybe revisit these at a later date…

I gave up at first too,then tried another dealer. Had to do the same with the Pepsi
