QF Daydate 36MM Tungsten

The 2836 is tried and true, but duds do happen.

can i replace the day&date wheel to gen? using 2836 movement..gen day&date is thick font, but qf day&date font is thin..but acceptable. Thinking of changing it

Of course it happened to me, my day wheel suddenly got stuck, I haven’t attempted to fix it yet

I received my QC pictures after 14 days. What I don’t like is the crooked crown, the poorly set stones, and a small gap in the lower left part of the bracelet connection. Does anyone have a QF with stones and can tell me if this is normal for the QF factory?

Just ordered the rose gold with blue/green dial with A2836. Will post QC if anyone is interested.

When you get QC request a video of the watch running and the day and date being changed I did this,everything was fine. It's best to know there were no problems before the watch leaves China. Although, as with me, its no guarantee there won't be a problem after you get it

Honestly very surprised of the quality of this release. Weight in case and bracelet is noticeable. Gold color is very close to gen IMO. The gen 18238 has a lighter gold, but this is more consistent with the 118238.


If I have to find something negative it would be the case and crown shape, but I can def live with it.

For me this is all in all the best DD rep I’ve seen

Would anyone know if the QF version would take a gen 18038/18238 dial (the vintage day date models) or if a 118238 dial is required?

I’d love to know that too. I’m opting for the stick hour markers with original train track style chapter ring. My older rep has this but having a gen dial would absolutely make this watch

Do you know if it is supposed to have a train track around the edge of the dial? CGI images on Rolex shows the train tracks , but the reps don’t have them. Which is weird and the dial seems very empty without the train tracks.

I noticed the same. I think the rep goofed. I'm pretty sure it's supposed to come with the train track.

Ok, something was seriously off with some of the dials and they looked "empty" and like shitters. Turns out a lot of the Roman numeral dials forgot the train tracks. I even looked it up on Chrono24 and all the gens do have train tracks. This is a a MAJOR but simple flaw. I don't know why the factory forgot this.

If they fix it I may just get one. I only have one white dial rolex rep now
