Had it for a few weeks. Still enjoying it. The titanium does feel a bit light for my taste.

Wonder if the 22mm straps for the 45 PO fit these cases.

I've fitted the strap from a VSF PO Deep Black. It fits but it's not a perfect fit out of the box. the back of the strap doesn't match the rear lip of the case so I had to stuff some additional material to prevent the strap from turning away from the case.

Using it with the VSF Ceramic Titanium deployant clasp. Below are pics to compare it with a gen DSOTM clasp.

Nice bit of kit but you can see the satinized finish of the ceramic cap isn't quite as fine or deep as the gen. The leading edge isn't as nicely rounded as gen. The polished bits however are indistinguishable.

Biggest tell with the VSF:

Here is mine with an aliexpress blue rubber strap
Not a bad effort there. The Ali strap is just slightly too short in height to match the lug curvature. Ultra deep is a thick bastard.

I was thinking a rubber strap for mine for a while but I’ve grown to love the metal strap now.

How is your screw in crown going ? Has it stripped yet ?

As I mentioned previously I’m getting FOMO vibes on this one. I might go so far as to say it may end up being the “now” ploprof. You know the rep that everyone talked about when it was released… only a handful bought it. Everyone waited for updated versions and details that never came. The factories eventually discontinued it and now we’re all chasing hens teeth trying to get used units M2M.

So, like you I’ve shelled out to get one. I understand it’s not 1:1 faithful and will likely never be. From your description it sounds acceptable so I’m now keen to get mine and start enjoying it.

It’s a shame about the titanium model just being 316L……

this is not correct, the Ploprof was a huge success from the beginning, so much so that Torobravo the dealer commented that he got mad at the Ploprof from so many that he sold, it was selling like hot cakes. if you look in the history of the thread ploprof had many pages and this does not have many, I lived those days

saw Bruce Williams' PO Ultra Deep video and was inspired to throw the watch back on the bracelet. This watch is a beast and so much fun to wear!

Sometimes I look down at this watch and wonder what it it had the lacquer dial that the gen has that makes the gradient pop so much more. Has anyone tried sourcing a gen dial to swap?

I saw one gen recently, the titanium color is absolutely off, unfortunately.

I have been able to see the gen and the SBF of this model and I can confirm that it is an excellent rep.
The visual defects are the color of the gen titanium is darker and the dial is a bit but this depends on the lighting, but very subtle.
Come on, for the price of the gen and its complexity to obtain it, it is a very, very good replica in my opinion.
As the wise Legend says, there is no perfect rep

It’s is a great rep. Case . Strap, movement, overall weight and feel, lume are excellent. Bezel action is a little bit light and not tactile enough but easily fixed with some dental floss. As I’ve mentioned numerous times, biggest issue with this watch and many other VSF seamasters is the tube and crown quality. Basically rubbish and almost always strip with regular use.

Regardless I’m still enjoying mine and plan on keeping it for quite some time.
