Here's a picture of the Gen Omega Ultra Deep and the Gen James Cameron 126660.

Honestly, Omega did an amazing job with their dial. It looks really attractive. It is not too busy, and the font colors go well with the color theme.
James Cameron's dial captures the true colors of the ocean, but the bottom part of the dial looks like there is an essay written on it.

wow nice! How did you manage to get your hands on a gen dial? I am also interested in doing a dial swap to gen.

Maybe I'll order those parts as well. Planning on putting a gen 8400 or 8912 movement in the watch.

I've fitted the strap from a VSF PO Deep Black. It fits but it's not a perfect fit out of the box. the back of the strap doesn't match the rear lip of the case so I had to stuff some additional material to prevent the strap from turning away from the case.



Using it with the VSF Ceramic Titanium deployant clasp. Below are pics to compare it with a gen DSOTM clasp.

Nice bit of kit but you can see the satinized finish of the ceramic cap isn't quite as fine or deep as the gen. The leading edge isn't as nicely rounded as gen. The polished bits however are indistinguishable.

Anyone photos of the deep black strap on the ultra deep especially around the curves were you mentioned it wasn't a perfect fit. And whats the solution?

Sorry for the late reply. The photos with the rubber strap from the VSF Deep Black are mine. You need some extra material so that the back of the watch matches up with the lip on back of the strap. Similar to what kKJ2020 does with this fish line hack: https://forum.replica-watch.info/threads/another-use-for-fishline.10949455/

VSF uses clone movt. TF uses 2824 movt. Unsure if TF will mimic the same hour quick set as the genuine. The VSF does, it has same function as gen. I’m also betting the VSF will have better dial detail and have a higher quality bracelet. VSF is top tier rep, TF is mid tier rep. The only downside to the SBF/ VSF is the crap crown tube and crown assembly. It strips easily….. I know 1st hand as I have one. Unsure if the TF suffers the same issue.

Yes as said above. The dial looks like Liquid Metal ZrO2 to me hard to tell through that thick crystal. I do not see a ZrO2 stamp on it so probably not.
