Replica oblivion…
if I had to buy it for its resemblance to the gen, I would not have done it. but I bought it anyway. I don't think the dial is its best feature
Interesting. Mine is still on its way…
How is everything else ? Bezel alignment and bezel action. Case back engraving ? Quality of the bracelet and clasp ?

I think it is enough work, there is a lot to improve, but I don't think they will try too hard to improve it. Let's talk clearly, it is a model that is NOT Rolex, and even more a specific model that is not very widespread. And perhaps this is precisely the greatest merit of replication in the 'real' world. perhaps the closest thing to gen is the NATO. The workmanship of the titanium is appreciable even if I notice the imperfections of the case, the color is slightly lighter than the gen, as well as the blue color, but it can also be the different light of the photos. the font of the numbers of the dial seems to me bigger than the gen. The shading on the second hand starts earlier on the gen, the back engraving is sufficiently faithful, the rotation of the bezel looks good, but I don't know the original, the alignment is slightly shifted, but from the photos it looks much more because of the angle of the photos and of the glass convexity.

As I mentioned previously I’m getting FOMO vibes on this one. I might go so far as to say it may end up being the “now” ploprof. You know the rep that everyone talked about when it was released… only a handful bought it. Everyone waited for updated versions and details that never came. The factories eventually discontinued it and now we’re all chasing hens teeth trying to get used units M2M.

So, like you I’ve shelled out to get one. I understand it’s not 1:1 faithful and will likely never be. From your description it sounds acceptable so I’m now keen to get mine and start enjoying it.

It’s a shame about the titanium model just being 316L……

@Teamjlf @Plenitude Thanks for your thoughts and feedback on this. While there are aspects that vary from gen, the watch is still a cool piece. Enjoy your watches (y)

Yours is a wise and expert reasoning passionate to the rep world. I agree. But I didn't quite understand the last part, you say it's not real titanium?

For some reason it’s described in the spec as 316L and not Ti. Might be a typo or it may actually be just that … 316 L stainless and not Titanium. Someone will have to weigh one when they get it. If it’s anywhere in the 160+ grams head only then it aint Ti..

I can confirm its real Titanium case. Weight is 118.4 grams, which is just 5,5 grams less than officially stated by Omega.

Weight check in this video:

One more thing - don't trust Intime descriptions.

Ryan must be a nice dealer, but his website descriptions often full of bullshit.

No offence, but fact.
