My Malio strap arrived this week. It's the perfect combination for my PAM127 (KW)

Why don't you think?

We talked through PM and he mentioned from what he could see in the picture it's the hash marks above the dagger regulator, the KW are higher and the others sit lower.

He was correct. I emailed InTime and in fact he they said the QC pics they sent were a ZF 127 not from a KW that I ordered.

Well, If you suggest factories cooperate/exchange certain pieces/movements...
then, OOR does not mean too much, doesn´t it? (could also be exchanged)
It's just a caseback inscription :)

Yeah I can totally get your point even when I made that post. Though I have to say that it's more usual to replace a superior part for an inferior one to save some cost (in this case, the SF movement, even the SF 127 ovcerall is like 20% cheaper than either ZF or KW. In fact, in China ZF's 127 is much more popular and fetchs a slightly higher price), not the other way around. Plus as far as I know, hardly anyone is buying the SF 127, whereas there's quite bit of a market for the KW 127, especially outside China thanks to all the analysis done by the forums. So KW is more likely to run out of parts, IMHO. Anyway, I think by all means it is safe to say my 127 arirved in KW case including the crystal, dial, CG, crown and the back, etc. It was originally loaded with a SF movement and was claimed as a product from KW.

So th BIG question ...
Do you (all guys) think is "safe" to order "as per today" a KW 127 fiddy from one of our TD's??? (OOR or notOOR)

I wanted to give an update to this because InTime went back and picked up a different watch from KW and sent me QC pics.
Sadly, it had the SF movement in it again. It was definitely a new watch because it had a different Serial number.
I asked InTime to find out if KW has run out of their own movements and let me know. So to answer the question if it's safe to order one now. I'd say ask your TD if they can verify before you pay.

If Ryan, wich is one of the best TDs, is having problems sourcing a correct KW127, I´m afraid
all current stocks are likely to have the "lower quality" SF movement. I guess the "good" first batches are out of stock.
As per today, I would save the trouble to my TD and myself.
What a pity KW did not run out of sock of minute hands and isntalled ZF ones, hahaha.
I wish you good luck trying to source a good KW.
Keep us informed, thanks for posting.

I would like to ask the moderators, if it would be possible to allow upload a "nice high def. QC" picture of one of those "supposed" hybrids "caseKW-SFmovement" (if someone has any and he is in the mood to share).
I think that could help everybody (noobs and not so noobs) to see what to look at, when evaluating wether to accept or not thir watch in case of ordering. Also the more expertise forum members could give their wise opinion ;-)
Thanks in advance.
