As I understand the latest H maker-cases are a lot better (maybe even best) since this started.
However, I did not found any comparison pictures of these improvements. Or did I miss it?
I have a H maker coming my way and I would love to make any pictures needed to update this thread (if desired).
Yes all makers, and mainly H maker (since it had the worst caseset), have introduced in 2015 improvements in their Luminor 44mm casesets.
H maker has got accurate lug shape, nice lug contours joining the case and has improved a lot the finish, getting the same level as KW and Noob. Unfortunately H maker has sharper edges than gen and the bezel has higher base, this flaw is enhanced by the sharper transition edges (this is really noticeable). These sharper edges are really nice but inaccurate.
H maker has also improved CG getting similar level to Noob. CG lever was already more accurate than Noob. Crown is almost as “slim” as gen but less accurate than KW crown which is as “slim” as gen.
Caseback is worse than other makers.
Please remember that I am talking about complete 2015 versions. This is important because there are many old batches in the market and, even announcing updated versions, makers are producing and dealers are selling batches with mixing old and new parts. Therefore we should be careful checking the QC pics
All pics in similar conditions and angle to the pics you can see in this thread will be welcome. I'm talking about pics to be directly compared.
