As a noobie interested in a PAM Luminor this analysis is extremely valuable. Thank you for taking the time to put together such a detailed breakdown of the different replicas.

Been thinking about this for a while, since the review is alredy a few yrs old, have there been any significant changes in the telltale signs between the 3 makers?
I visited a dealer in town specializing in "top end reps". Spotted a 111 and noticed that the seller quoted quite a high price (about 350 USD). When countered with the price I quoted from TDs and another local dealer, his answer: "we sell latest noobs, as proof look at the caseback and see the serial starts with a P, no other factories' pam111 start with a P".
Question is, how much truth is there in his statement? Is it really that easy to tell now?

Things have changed a lot from the end of 2014
New H maker has more correct lug shape, much better finish and CG but the edges (case and bezel) are really sharper than gen, that produces a strong gen-like appearance but it is inaccurate
New KW has correct lug shape and the case is more accurate, CG is also better. But the lug holes remain a bit higher on placement and the bezel has a bit sharper edges
Noob is making a new V4 case but they are using V3 and V4 parts mixed. We cannot assure the version we will receive. If you are lucky and receive a complete V4, that will be the best option... but this is almost impossible at this moment. And that occurs even with the new P-series. Indeed Noob is commercialising a "false V4" with usually P-series, fitting V3 caseset and just using a Y shaped rep Incabloc.

@ALE7575 having in mind what you commented about the Noob V3-V4 mix, let's imagine the more normal situation (we will receive a noob V3-V4 mix) , which would you order?

I'm going not to be clear, but this is the current situation
We are so confused that I don't buy a Luminor 44mm from two years ago
The crystals on reps are hit and miss, you cannot say a fix rule. Anyway the overall level is good enough
Sorry for a no concrete reply, but it is really impossible to get it at this moment
Maybe is some months the real and complete Noob V4 will be ready and then......

I noticed, assuming it was really a noob v4 mix, that the numbers did start with P, but man it was terribly engraved. Seems like the competitors are starting to catch up while noob is slowing down.

The great part is you can pick up a HF or KW 44mm Luminor for around 150-180 USD these days.
