I'm new to this forum and I would like to say thank you for all this.

I've read many and many page about Panerai replica but I need your help because I want buy one Panerai PAM 111 Rep V4 - I see there are alot of False V4 out there.. I'm no expert by any means.. can someone please point me to the right dealer / place where i can buy a good V4 version? Much appreciated!

looks typical "false" V4.
However, Crystal appears to have a good one.

It is from Intime.
However, I think is the same thing be purchased from any TD.
As long as there is a stock of old parts in the factory. It will remain false V4


Even if all the old parts has been completed, I do not know whether to true V4 or V5 or discontinued.


I did dare decision to purchase the false V4.

I read a lot about the PAM 111 and I am now totally confused. I usually don´t post QC pictures. I compared my qc pictures with gen pictures and other rep pictures. I think that I got a true Noob Pam 111 V4. I think that this one has the right crown and case. Please correct me if I am wrong.

It is a nice false V4, with a nice case (maybe transition V3 to V4)
3 Crown and lever are clearly V3
Movement is the typical used in false V4 with Y shaped rep Incabloc, with correct OFFICINE PANEARI engraving
Anyway, it would not be easy to get better watch at this moment

I ordered same one like yours but with rubber Strap.

Yours is much better than Mine.

I rejected the first one because of bad stamp# & OP on back case, MS screw.

The second one has some questions and I'm waiting QC team to answer it.

ALE is right, not the right time for getting it.

Would you keep the watch or reject it? I got some more pictures. Regarding the time graph +10s is acceptable but I think that the amplitude (318) is too high, or is this ok for an Asian UNITAS-6497-2 movement?

Accepted these as I am too excited about getting my first ever rep. No idea if it's a V4 case, but it's a beaut altogether.

I had posted separately to see if the dial is incorrect (I'm not sure about the 2 in 12),but nothing I can't live with.

Od course it is a false V4
But the case is not a typìcal old V3, it is a little better than V3
It could be a transition model from V3 to V4. Very frequent lastly

Is 6497 the only movement available for pam111s? I checked out local rep shops and they advertise their 111s with either the 6497 or the so called "cloned" movement.

The word "clone" movement excites and scares me at the same time. Part of me is curious just how close to gen can they replicate it, but the other part thinks doing so is like me trying to replicate a Van Gogh with all the right colors, but with.... well, my amateur level of skills. Not sure how they can make the clone at least as reliable as a factory built 6497.

The rep movement A6497 used in reps is actually a true clone of the Unitas 6497, and the accuracy is almost perfect for the 99,99% of people. Only trained (on reps) eyes are able to tell the differences
The reliability is also good enough
