Hello,

I got clearer pictures. I can see that the crown guard seems loose.
But apart from that, everything seems fine.

What do you think experts?

Here are the QC pics that I just received from PureTime.

My concerns are that there seems to be some scratches on the casing in some of the pictures. The 15 s/day rate also seems not that great.

What do others think?

Can someone clarrify the pics on Toro's site have the incablock on it almost perfect but it looks different in his pics than on the pics posted here.

http://www.torobravos.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=35_52&product_id=87

Any ideas?

Spdu4ia,

that is an interesting observation, it seems that he is offering it with the incabloc mod already done. I would double check with him to make sure though.

Another note to point out is that the mod is done on the wrong end. I think this can be flipped though. Also the MS screw is still not the proper length in his pics.

To see what this should look like, check ales stickies in the PAM section for the Swan Neck movement. You will see what the gen movement should look like and be able to make a determination for yourself.

Yea its just weird when I emailed him he said that he offers two movements and that is why the pics looked different. So does that mean the "Swiss" mvmt has the incablock mod on it?

Not sure, but think of it this way. The asian version will be cheaper. and while maybe the Swiss version already has the mod, it would still need to be modified again to turn it around to face the swan neck.

If you got the Asian, and sent it to one of the trusted modders here, it would probably cost around $200usd to service and mod incabloc and MS pin.

So far the overwhelming response from the gurus has been to go for the asian movement. I think that would be your best bet. Also keep in mind that you may not even want to spend that kind of money on modifying it as only serious panerai fenatics will catch this flaw.

i completly agree with you. Now that we are on here and have seen the insane macro shots of this blown up to god knows what size, you cant help but know its there. in that case it will wind up costing roughly 200(+/-) for the modding as well as a servicing of the movement.

If money isnt a problem, your talking about overall investment of $450(+/-) for a watch that will be pretty damn close to 1:1 with a rock solid movement that should not give any problems. Plus its a hot item. you could probably sell it and get your money back if something doesn't work out for u.

This is number 1 watch on my list as well. sooner or later i will be biting the bullet too :maty:

Just ordered a pam 111 noobfactory v3 from sead. How is the lume on this out of the box? Is it comparable with gen watches? Also, how water resistant is this? Can I wash my hands with it on and run it under water? Can i swim in it?

Lume is perfect, very gen like
Water test at your own risk, reps are hit and miss
You are going to want a leather strap on this anyway and leather does not like to get wet so not sure it matters

As a new member who has been doing a lot of reading, I've got what might be a silly question, but I'll ask anyway.

I know we can't expect reps to be 100% perfect, but this 111N V3 is REAL close.

I'm seriously considering buying one right now, but....

It would seem that the incabloc and swan neck screw are among the last two really big (if you know the watch) tells.

What's the likelihood of the Noob factory fixing these issues and releasing another iteration? If it's possible, how long do you think we would have to wait for it?

I'd hate to buy this and see those issues fixed 6 months from now.

Not a silly question at all, but one we all want to happen:whistle: IMHO I would very much doubt it, but heh never say never in the rep world.
As it currently stands its and outstanding rep, and you will only see the flaw when it's off your wrist

Bro,

I also brought the Pam 111N v3 as others,..but I did some searching and I have found a pam 111N v3 that solve the above incabloc n swan screw problem..

Is running on the genuine Swiss Unitas 6497 with the same incabloc and swan screw as the original Pam...but the price is about 450+ ....

Now i am tempted to buy it.....:lolcina:

Check in TS lastest arrival.....

If I buy it then I have 2 Pam 111!!!!

These replicas from TimesShop have a perfect Incabloc OK, maybe it is a gen.
But the movement is Low beat and the Swan Neck is a typical bad SN Noob. Therefore it is not a complete Swiss movement and besides Low beat

It is no worth IMHO such a price only for a correct Incabloc

Found this info on the Noob v3 on RWG. Busy at the moment so I haven't looked into it that much but I do believe he is right. All credit to amperes.

He noticed that the 2 in 12 is wrong, pic below:
XZ7Cq.jpg

Original thread: http://www.rwg.bz/board/index.php?showtopic=39367&st=0

I had debated between the 111 and 005 for a while. I liked the look of the 111 more but the 005 is closer to gen. If the 2 is indeed wrong, I'll be even more happy that I picked the 005.

The one on the right is correct and more gen like. On the left is a QC photo from a member just receive recently over there.

Another member there is also saying that he just got QC photo that have the cutout that look like the left one from another TD.

Maybe there is a possibility of different dial cutout for the later batch of 111? Or maybe it is a hit or miss for the later batch?

Because i check a couple of 111 here from other members that just got recently, one have the dial on the left and another got the dial on the right.
