Looking with attention first and third pics I'm pretty sure the roller is here.
If you take a shot of the CG lever open we can look it better.

I don't see either roller axle or roller.

But bear in mind that "AUTHENTIC" Pre-V hands are with this external look but the structure is different to the Pre-V "TYPE" hands used in current watches
"AUTHENTIC" Pre-V hands have the lume applied only in the surface and the hands have a slot or canal where the lume is placed.
The current Pre-V "TYPE" hands are like a skeleton hand, but the free space is filled with the lume completely. You can see the difference in the pic below ( thanks for the pic to the PCTeam member Spboudart)

I think we are talking about the same thing. But I made a mistake saying "there is no roller lever". I should say "THERE IS NO AXLE ROLLER LEVER" (I mean visible, of course)
That said I agree with you and in the pics it seems there is ROLLER but the axle ¡s almost invisible. Like the "old" CG Noob (before last versions), as we can see in the pic of Purtetime comparison thread above shown.
Therefore we are dealing with an "old" M-series Type Noob CG.

The V3 just doesnt justify enough for me to purchase it since i own the noob V1.

With the above upgrading list included its a different story.

Yes, all gen Luminors have the pin gasket.

SUMMARY of improvements current and pending

To summarize the list of current improvements included and future improvements to be included. I have done the lists below supported by the lists from PCTeam members sharrkey and Rwolf


UPDATED 14 OCTOBER 2012

List of current improvements included in PAM 111 N-series Noob:

- Crystal updated to single AR like gen PAM 111 with a very good optics. Be careful because some items seem to have the crystal a little too raised.
- Hands must be Pre-V type like gen. http://forum.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php/updated-pre-v-108593
- Flattened and polished cannon pinion.
- Matching hands and dial superlume, certainly not as bright as the H-maker’s lume.
- CG improved to the latest standard with nice “square†inner edges. http://forum.replica-watch.info/vb/showpost.php?p=1054542&postcount=10
-“A†central horizontal bar in dial inscriptions is placed higher (very, very lightly).
- Strap screws do seem a better fit, more flush
- Serial numbers in caseback are engraved more deeply.
- Improved and more visible Roller of the lever and axle.
- Nice engraved OFFICINE PANERAI on the movement plates. It semms that sometimes the last “I†is a little lower.

It is a Noob but not with engraving serial number, of course.
Therefore not a V3 with all improvements.
Bad starting if you bought and expected a V3 !!!
Then, have we starting to have the same problems as in previous versions??
