Fortunately from the dealers it seems that the V3 have all improvements included.

That is the problem I had announced some months ago with the sales and puchases of preowned PAM 111 Vx from the end 2011 and beginning of 2012 !!!

It is a Noob but not with engraving serial number, of course.
Therefore not a V3 with all improvements.
Bad starting if you bought and expected a V3 !!!
Then, have we starting to have the same problems as in previous versions??

Sorry
ALE

Yup i emailed the dealer to see if i can get a caseback.

Dealers response when i asked if i could order v3 case back "We don't have any extra case back , all N case back is deep engraved version 3 from Noob factory".

I missed it in QC so i have to take the hit. Not the end of the world as i have a 390 that might get this case and i will sell the 111n in an hfac case cheap to fund a replacement v3.

I am a little disappointed in the dealer as i was under the impression their higher prices were due to better initial qc before offering.

Ah well such is life in this hobby. Lol

As I said in my previous post mate, you would need to post better pics to give us a better idea, there is a considerable difference in etched and engraved, when you run your finger nail along it does it catch?

If you look at the 2nd pic you can clearly see the deep engraving from the shadowing, where as on the pic you have posted because of the angle it's hard to say.

It might be due to the quality of the photo and lighting. I have taken mine which i just got it from a TD here last week to compare.

This look like laser etched

And this look like engraved
IMG_0408.jpg

Both pictures are took from the same watch and when i run my finger through the number part, i can feel the engraving with my nail.

it catches. (trying to get a good angle. lol)

Trust me If it was etched you Would know, if you can run your nail over the Sn and around the outer and it catches then it would seem to be the latest engraved, but do try and get a better pic

is laser engraved completely smooth? My nail does indeed catch on the edges of the numbers. more pics.

The engraving on the V3 is still not as deep as on the genuine:) but still much better than the etched version:)

Yeah, trazmission, your's is engraved.
From some angles in photos you cannot tell.
As stated the etched ones were smooth, the engraved you can feel the raised vs. recessed with your finger.
I put up pics of the V2 with etched and V2.5 with engraved caseback movement photos a few weeks to show a movement photo with Y-incablock mod and in my photos you could not tell which was engraved or not but I could tell in person.
I also just got a V3 and it is the same engraving as my 2.5

I honestly think that the tranzmizzion watch is engraved, maybe a little few (very little) deep as usually but engraved.
