Definitely worth buying a dedicated tip screwdriver for panerai
They are all over the bay, think I paid $12 and makes strap changes a breeze and does not nick the screw heads
Of course oem would probably be even better but more costly

Me too at first. Push it in until it stops, you will have 2mm still sticking out now, then move the strap around a bit, jiggle the bar, you will find that it will happily settle in the recieving screw hole after a bit, you can tell as it has gone in a bit more, then carefully use a screwdriver to finally screw it home.

Be careful with the blade of the screwdriver, go real slow and be very gentle - pretend its a nuclear bomb and you are 007 defusing it...

Thanks for the wonderful advice guys. It took me quite a while to get the screws in but all it took was just some wiggling and patience though. I am thinking of investing on a dedicated precision screwdriver, anyone come across ones with plastic tips? I've got some hairline scratches now along the screw hole :( how clumsy of me.

By the way, I guess most of you all have had your new PAMs for almost a week now. I'd like to know how does the power hold up in yours after a full wind in the morning (approx. 30-40 winds perhaps?). Because I've got mine yesterday. Winded it around 20 times in the noon time but it stopped running around midnight. This morning I increased the winds to 40, and as expected the power lasted til 10pm. Less than 24 hours! Any advice on this?

How does yours hold up?

Thanks!

Hi guys,

I have the latest H factory 111 with the high beat movement. I'm thinking of getting the 111 noob because I am stupidly obsessed with tiny details!...

But, I've noticed a few of the QC pics have the "I" of the PANERAI engraved on the movement very slightly below the correct level.

Is this a feature of this batch or just a one (or few) off example?

Thanks

Excellent upgrade, seems that on the V3 the bevel on the ratchet wheel is less dramatic that on the other versions; making the movement look more gen like. The CG is excellent as well as the dial and hands. l Love the improved case back too.Noob needs to keep up on the CQ because on this watch as in many the dagger regulator is not making contact with the micrometric screw. Overall it is a spectacular rep.

You could fit spring bars to it mate, as for the scratch cape cod cloth might do is its not too deep, can send you one if needed.
Would it not be better to return for an exchange

mate very nice offer, thank you, i tried cape cod but its a little too deep toro said he will give me full refund, very much doubt the $35 i was forced to pay as i really wanted the airmail option, he wants more pics first and then is going to offer it to someone in the eu.

If that's the case then mate, would it not then be better for him just to send you a replacement 111

Of course, this is not the right place to put such a post. But since this thread is from the beginning a very free thread, no problem... LOL

Can be a tracking mistake very usual in EMS Tracking and perhaps somenone will be knocking your door in few minutes.
And maybe it is still in China, no worries you will get it

Hi! Give it a few more days. My delivery was dispatched to the "Outward Office of Exchange" twice lol!! Should be some hiccups in China, when it reached my country, my local delivery service did it in 2 days. Cleared customs in just an hour and I collected it personally from the post office, I asked the person in charge to go in and look for it cuz I couldnt wait another day to see my PAM lol.

don't worry. I'm sure you will get your watch soon enough.

You are just the lucky owner of a Noob watch belong to the 46% of Noob Watches which have SN cosmetically correct. Leaving aside, of course, the short screw and SN spring end shape.

Am I seeing things or is the "I" of panerai a bit below the other letters?

This seems to be the case with most of the V3?

I'll stick with what I have if this is the case. Instant tell in my opinion. Still a beautiful watch.
