The case specs for the gen were never released or discussed? I just bought myself the XF factory V2 thinking it was close to 1:1 .. :/

Without the gen in hand, the replica could not realistically be 100% to the gen. But it did follow some design cues like the thickness should be less than the larger submersibles and the other parts should be proportionally smaller because of the 42mm size. And even with a gen in hand, there is no guarantee that all the dimensions can be copied. But try the factory will, it's just that the gen isn't yet with them.

Just saw a video of a GEN 684 on Instagram, and can 100% say the bezel does not overhang on the case, so if it does at any angle on the REP that is one to add to the list

Could you please share the vid, I'd like to see it..

edit: here is a pic from A Blog to Watch of the 682 ..

From their photos it looks like at some angles the bezel does extend past the case...

I'd really love a conclusive answer to the gen case / bezel specs.

By the way my 682 arrived yesterday , and I realised I done goofed on the version I ordered . I went with the newer XF V2 with the cheaper A23J movement (paid $288 from PT) , but what I didnt realise is that the balance wheel position is TOTALLY WRONG , it sits at 6:00 rather than 11:00 as in Gen...

With the open caseback this is a massive letdown. Does anybody know if the movement can be modified so I can change the balance wheel position? (stupid question I guess, because if it could I'm sure the rep makers would be doing this already...)

Might need to put this up for sale and pick up another with the 7750 movement... :picard2:

Yeah, @jamsie , please do post the link to the video. I've seen a video of the PAM684 from January, at the SIHH but maybe yours is the video of the actual production run. :)

No, I'm afraid the balance wheel will stay @6:00. Unless you replace the movement, which getting one as of the moment would currently be next to impossible.

I dont know man, from both the video and the photo, it seems like the bezel lines up just perfectly , and from some angles does extend out over the case.

No doubt the rep does not have this perfected, but I also do not think it's a glaringly obvious flaw or easy call-out.

My balance wheel at 6:00 though... *cries to myself softly*..

On the second photo with the green strap installed, it looks like it lines up with zero overhang...still need more production pictures at this point.

Not sure between this and mysterio's review on 684 which one is the more active thread, so please excuse me for asking again here - do we know if the thickness/height is correct as per gen for both 682/684?
I just measured mine. Both are 16mm. I thought I read somewhere Gen was 16mm...but I could be wrong. Probably on TD website.

I read they made a Lite version but never saw pics. Sorry to hear about that. I ordered mine as soon as they fixed the lumen.

Thanks for the measurement bro! I searched all over the internet to confirm the gen thickness but seems like no one is mentioning this crucial piece of information. This goes to show how great this community is - more info is available on the rep than the gen!

No worries. Glad to contribute. I couldn't find anything either. Best I could find was specs on the new 1392 with 1950 case and 9010 movement. 42mm diameter and 13.2mm thick. But its not a diver...

No worries man.. I also got excited about the lite version and was happy to save that extra $40 , thinking that the seconds sub-dial was small enough that the sweep of the A23J wouldn't be a noticeable difference. Didn't even LOOK at the caseback for the P.9010 movement... such a facepalm moment when it arrived in-hand and I took a good look at it.

I know it's a long shot, but I have a "custom order" still pending with PureTime that they just told me is OOS , so instead of a refund I'm checking with them if I can return the A23J in exchange for a 7750 ..

fingers crossed...
