Bezel shape looks different. On the gen the polished area is only in the edge, the rep looks like the polish starts over the bezel, cornering the edge and on. Also the angle of the top of the bezel looks more prominent in the gen....

Gonna be tough to make the above calls as fact without having GEN & REP in hand, and or many more pics...not sure how you deduced all that from my quick pic?

I think it's difficult still to tell, given the limited images we have available until GENS are out and we see more pics from owners...this is a GEN. I get what you were describing though, what I see is the appearance of the polished areas fade & come into view depending on the angle.

As i had previous said apart wrong high profile caseback, you can see in this video that caseback glass isn't shappire. That's so simple... I can spot a non-shappire crystal easily form the edge from a simple video or pics beacuse it's has a matt whiter edge :)

However in this video seems that they have update the caseback with serial number.... They have do the same with 682?

Recently, got this and the 684 on qc pictures.
i confirm that only the polished parts are on the coin edges, the other parts of the bezel is brushed.
wait till i receive the watch, i will do an update.

shall wait for the 1:1 and see if i should flip the v2 for it.

or go for the gen. haha pam 305 is just too huge for me.

i also realised that the bezel markers, 15, 35 and 45 is different from the rep and the gen.
the font is different, the gen seems thicker and especially the 45, gen uses a flat top 4 and rep uses a sharp top 4 font.

places for improvement but i guess its so small that nobody can spot it from afar unless under scrutiny.

I'm seeing font differences in the Ablogtowatch picture due to picture angle, and these aren't QC pics..markers line up with the bezel markings so again not sure if we have a true side by side comparison here. Fault will always be found, even from GEN to GEN if you are looking for it. With that said, I think we will find improvements that can be made.

just received mine, the bezel aligns perfectly. but the movement is very rough when winding, setting the time and date, the lever have that tension that causes it to bounce back a little when i open it. i also notice the crown is slanted. should i get it exchange? got it from puretime

can watchmaker fix this issue?

Can you not post the pictures showing the issues your having with the watch?

Not sure what you meant.
Do you want me to post or not to post? Lol

Anyway, the movement is rough and it's pretty hard to pull the crown out to position 1 and 2. When turning the ceown to set the time and date, it feels alittle jerky and rough.

On the other hand, the 684 I have, is buttery smooth.

I can't take photos with what I have described.

I guess I am gonna live with it and use it as it is because the agony of sending back to China and waiting for it to come back beats all the fun of having it.
After all, you set time once and that's it.

My Pam 024 crown turns with a wobble when setting the time when full pulled out. I just live with it even though it turns like a buckled wheel lol.
Edited, it's the a7750 movement!
