Few nice straps at the minute but no gunny 74s in present listings you have to just keep watching his listings for when they come up. Some nice designs though between £25-50.
If this link doesn't work, his seller name is erik16780 .
Also in his descriptions it states he will make any size you want and customs orders!
He is probably cheaper than most because he is from Slovakia where wages and cost of living are cheaper than a lot of countries such as USA, UK, Etc,
This is the 2 I have purchased off him. One for the 217 and one for the RWX, (a copy of a copy on a copy of a copy[emoji23][emoji23])

Thanks for the link mate. Will check it out. :)

Perfect Clones now offers a second version of the 682 (Directlink - is that allowed?) with an ST2555 movement. Could it be thinner than the 7750 version ? It is also a little bit cheaper, but from what i've read, the ST2555 is quiet reliable, compared to the 7750.
What do you guys think, which one is better?

Could the PAM682 version based on the ST2555 be thinner? No, because the Seagull isn't any thinner than the A7750. Plus it would not make sense to make two cases for essentially similar movements. I have not seen any evidence that the Seagull is any more reliable than the A7750, but watches that use it are cheaper. However, if they break down, parts are not readily available compared to the A7750, so you would have to purchase a complete movement to replace the broken one.

I'd go to about £120. There is some nice straps out there and sometimes you can't find the equivalent at a cheaper price so you have to bite the bullet. But it does make all the difference to your watch with a great looking strap. End of the day I suppose you've got to think like the rich guy would being If he'll pay $ 10,000 for a watch then $300 for a good quality strap is nothing compared to the watch price but to us it's nearly as much as the Rep cost lol!

Go back up 2 posts Sparky, them 2 photos are of straps I bought from him and on my watches. Not saying as good or as soft leather as a Gunny but for the money they are top quality and the leather does wear softer after broken in. My Gunny 74 in the Buckle part of the leather strap is triple layered.

I'm really impressed with the details and finish quality of this piece, it feels and looks great in person.
The only thing I can really nitpick at so far is the rotor is a little noisy but it's not noticeable on the wrist.
Thanks for the solid review. Could you comment on the edges (crown protector and the rest). Are they sharp? Do you think it will require some milling.

The edges around the case and specifically the case protector don't feel abnormally sharp. I'm quite happy with the case finishing. I'd say the finishing feels pretty similar to the H factory 243 I used to have which I believe had super rep status.

Wish the RG version was Bronze.

Don't think I can rock a RG dive watch. Lol

Well I don't think the PAM684 was made for those who planned on diving with it. :) Just those who desk dive I guess. :lmao:

^i don't think any £10k watch was made for actual diving. I just don't think RG suits a rugged looking "dive" watch (regardless of whether it is used for actual diving or not). I would love a bronze version tho!

Maybe in future releases, let's see. There are already 3 Bronze PAMs, though none in 42mm (nor 44mm).

There's a bloke even does gunny copies for £30! I've never had a genuine gunny strap but bought one of these gunny lookalikes off eBay and they're good quality. Even though well branded named straps are very good quality, your still paying a big premium for that name just like with the watches. No leather strap is worth $175 upwards for the small amount of leather that is used. This is also just my opinion. [emoji106]

If we talk about hand made, hand stitched, hand finished strap, i believe that an amount of 150$ is fair.
Cost over 6 hours of craftsmanship and has 15$ raw materials.
Don't compare the really nice work of erik16780 ( thanks for the link! ) cause its more like a small factory or a family business product.
A premium made to order strap has almost double work. Don't forget that £30 is a good salary for a days work in Slovenia.

i am also against extremities in pricing for the name only.

I've already said Slovakia has a lower cost of living, salary etc and that he's probably a single operation business. I'm 53 years old and been self employed 31 of them. I'm not wet behind the ears matey but thanks for your experience and info! [emoji6]

Also how do you work out just because he's making a strap for one person (customs) takes double the time than hand making a strap to sell on eBay to try and establish himself and get a better name through his quality craftsmanship from good feedback? Seeing as you are talking to a craftsman(me) just with a different trade?
Please enlighten me?

Completely agree! 42mm bronze would be way more appealing than gold...

Both very valid points from two sides of the argument. However, this isn't the thread to be discussing it. Feel free to create a thread in the Replica Watch General Discussion section to discuss the matter. ;)

Can't remember if I asked this before but does anyone know whether the 42mm 682/684 comes with a SS case + ceramic bezel option?

I have not come across your question but there is no such combination that exists in gen.

If these 42mm subs sell well hopefully we'll start to see more variations released from OP such as bronze, ceramic, carbotech, etc. I would LOVE to see a 42mm carbotech and I'm sure bronze would be a big hit as well. I really think the overall trend in watches is starting to swing back towards smaller case sizes which is good news for us with smaller wrists!
