Where your daughter is
ahh, 42mm pams! 42mm luminors with the same proportions (the 40mm just looked off--sat too high on the wrist vs the wide flatness of the 44's which I like). Bring them on please. I hate all that talk about pams are supposed to wear big. Well if the proportions are the same then 42mm on my 6.5 inch wrist will wear the same as a 44 on some sashquach's wrist so I never did understand that logic :)

Oh, and 42mm versions of the "regular", core pams please. 42mm pam luminor marina and polished case sub. Alternate versions with blue, gold hands and other do dads are ok too as long as they hit the main ones.

Something looks off to me, not sure if the Bezel or the case design. The Gen pictures, the Bezel looks smaller or the case a little bit squared. We need a comparison side by side, I'm sure the makers will invest in this watch.

Which gen pictures? Please post so we can appreciate the comments. Depending on the angle of the shot, the bezel can look as large or slightly larger than the case. Here's a photo from ablogtowatch.

i also noticed it, but maybe i'm wrong.
The bezel on the rep looks a bit bigger in comparison to the gen. Also the Caseback seems to be higher than the gen.

Thanks for the picture, it does seem that the bezel is slightly wider than the midcase, although the one I had for review had a slightly smaller bezel (by measurement at least). The caseback has been mentioned as looking thicker than the gen, although by how much isn't known at this point. Although the total thickness is still 16.5mm, thinner than the larger submersibles (TDs claim same as gen but as the gen hasn't been released yet, can't be 100% sure). I did hear the factory is getting a gen 42mm Sub (probably the 682) so we'll see later.

Excellent notes as always @mysterio I can confirm that for the 682 the bezel does not over hang as in the above picture for the 684. I have a confirmed QC pic from an order and that is 100% not the case for the 682 XF V2

Thank you for the independent confirmation. By the way, I posted the actual measurements of the PAM682 in my review.

Yes thank you for those details. I think part of what folks shall see is a case shape/size difference due to the movement used for the REP as that which is in the GEN.
