I am 99.9999999999999999% sure you are correct (just leaving the very microscopic chance someone actually did replicate the movement, but I highly doubt it).

That's why I posted the pic of the movement,
I'd be VERY surprised if that was an actual rep, don't get me wrong I'm sure & hopeful it will get repped eventually but I'd confidently bet my mortgage on that been taken straight from the panerai website
We can all still live in hope though[emoji3]

Come on guys, you've been in the game long enough to recognize a copy/paste scam site when you see it.

The photos used are the same ones posted all across the web.. I even posted a few of them several comments ago. Besides, the blurred out logo in the bottom right hand corner should be a dead give away.

(Good thing I placed the disclaimer on the link I posted.)

I am pretty sure everyone was aware hah!

We can only hope for something even close to that. I'm okay with a slightly "non-perfect" movement. No way they are going to get close to that. Use a P.3000 movement with all silver gears and "skeletonize" it. OF course fake PR indicator. I can except those flaws if the case, dial, and crystal are damn near perfect.

We shall see!!

Everyone? No.. all hyperbole aside, I'm sure this site (and others like it) have taken many orders. We can kid around all we want, but I can guarantee someone's impatience, coupled with "hopes and dreams" have costed them the quoted price(s) on this site. Otherwise, RWI wouldn't have a Trusted Dealer section.

Absolutely... but if you do, please provide a full review. :battingeyelashes:

We should get Angus in here an see if he knows anything. I'm interested to hear if they are actually developing the watch....officially from a trusted dealer on here.

This thing is gorgeous. 50k for the gen. Looks like it rolled off the set of Tron.

Rather than get him in this thread, why not ask him in his section? ;)

So you calculated the price of the rep based on that 99% discount of the gen price formula? We should be so lucky. :lmao:

This is a beautiful piece ... Should the factories make it right I would buy it in a heartbeat ...

I already got 616 and I love it, except the zebra pattern of the carbon. Hopefully they could get it right this time, because this is an open caseback.

Pardon my ignorance, but what if this came in a closed case-back? Or it came like the one linked below? Who is really looking at the case-back (open or closed?)?

The watch in that picture is wrong on so many levels, even if you closed the caseback. Who is really looking at the caseback? I do. But we aren't forcing the factories to make anything totally new. It's not like it isn't possible or hasn't been done.

Carbotech case - PAM616, PAM661, done - New challenge - 50mm size.
Etched crystal - Other brands, i.e. Laser Etched crown on Rolex, done - New challenge - New text?
Base Movement - Superclone P.3000, done - New challenge - Skeletonizing the movement
PVD Movement - PAM438, done - New challenge - None

All of the groundwork has been laid down, it's just a matter of getting it all together. ;)

100% Agree!

I still haven't heard from Angus on the status in if this is getting repped. Still have my fingers crossed.

I feel if the factories take their time and get the details right, then it could be a hot product. The blacks need to be dark, blue lume is a must, skeleton gears (should be possible with some mods to their existing setup), etching on the crystal and the carbon case. long list, but it can be done.
