Hmm, watchbus seems to be down at the moment so can't get any news on the progress of the rep.

only panerai fanboys will recognise it's a 50k watch, to most of the folks around it's just another panerai. A RG panerai rep screams more than this I think.

no need to be a pam fan to recognize this as a damn cool watch

Makes me wonder if a modder could make something close to this, using a 616 case.

He can't, because the 616 is a 47mm Luminor 1950s Submersible, while the PAM700 is a 49mm Luminor 1950s non-submersible. The mid case would be too small, and then you would not have the bezel to put on top. The only carbotech cases we have with non-submersible bezels are 44mm (either the PAM661 or the fantasy carbotech models that were released earlier like the PAM441). Then you would need to get a suitable dial, which would be custom since there isn't an existing dial with very blue lume plus the unique subdial @9. Plus the etched LUMINOR PANERAI and LAB-ID on the crystal. It would take a bit of custom (and probably expensive) work. So I'd probably just wait for the factories to make the watch, it will probably drop within the next 3 months.

I wouldn't go that far... Doesn't look much different than a 47mm.

Hmmm, thanks for pointing out the differences. So essentially I could have both in my collection... hmmm.

I have the PAM616 and the PAM661 and still plan on getting the PAM700, if it's made in acceptable quality. But that's just me. :lmao:
