i can't wear 47mm let alone this one..

A watch with such a bold design and statement deserves an appropriately sized case. I'm pretty sure the movement is the highest contributing factor to this size choice. One could argue even a 50mm would have been fitting. Plus doing so would go along with the 50 year warranty and other "50" associations.

Well the PAM661 is 44mm and although it does not have the special features of the PAM700, it is still a pretty sweet watch. :)

LOL Well if it worked on wrists, we would have seen pictures of skinny members with abnormally huge wrists sporting 60mm Egis left and right. :lmao:

You purchased the Gen? Looks like you're at the boutique in those pics. Take one in the park ;-)

A simple Google Image Search can return a ton of things; including the three images above. If you noticed the possible boutique location, you should have also picked up that each one is of a different person, and from a unique source. Take notice of the hand textures, the absence of forearm and hand hair in one. Hell, there's even a watermarked logo in the top right corner of one of the images.

Besides, if these were of me and I'd purchased the genuine watch:

1) I wouldn't be posting here.
2) The skin tone in the photos would be a lot darker.
3) I wouldn't "take a photo in the park" just to prove anything.

Hilarious...

Essentially you could have both in your collection! All good though, I've moved on.

"Moved on" yet took the time to reply. Also, I see you're still confused. By "both" I was referring to the Replica 616 and eventual Replica 700. Just follow the flow of conversation. No mention of genuine anything until you chimed in.

Now we can really move on.

Honestly, not bad for a first attempt. Gives me hope.

A faint glimmer anyway. Not even the case is carbotech. The finish is similar to the painted stainless steel fakes I've seen. And the movement is automatic (they could have used the superclone P.3000 as the base movement even if not yet PVDed and skeletonized).

I hear ya; if only the photos were higher resolution and clearer. I am personally not a stickler when it comes to the look of movements. From wrist to watch box and back again. As long as it ticks, keeps good time and looks good to me... I'm a fan.
