Patience. TD's will have it at the same time as this guy. No photos available for now. He is using photos of the genuine PAM700 in the announcement.

Anyhow, I have never ordered from him but he appears to be a good guy which again you never know if you did not order from him..

Please don't PM me about this seller.

That certainly looks much better. If I'm going to be very picky, the coating looks a bit too shiny even the steel ones compared to gen. But point for point on the gen movement, dear God, that is one outstanding effort on the part of the factories (H-fac if the supplier is to be believed).

so this is still not available after all this time. :( fail!!!!!!

Patience my young padawan. Released, the PAM700 will soon be. ;)

Panerai only showed the watch at SIHH2017, in January of this year. The PAM382, in comparison took around 2 years after its announcement in SIHH2011 before rumors of the watch being repped surfaced, with another year before it was actually repped in 2014. The PAM700 took less than 2 months, before rumors of a factory starting work on it reached this forum (I remembered saying in March that it would be around middle of this year instead of end of the year), and that is with more newer parts to do (50mm carbotech case, PVDed AND skeletonized P.3000, new unique dial and crystal with etched design on the surface) and now, we see the working PVDed skeletonized P.3000 movement. That's incredible progress IMHO. So definitely not a fail.

Man, I wish the factories could throw this into a 44mm 1950s case (i.e. 661 case). I know it'd be a fantasy watch, but to hell with it...I'd buy it in a heartbeat...and then buy one for all my friends and family itd be such a beauty of a rep. I mean, at $50k, it's not like many folks in my circles would ever know the difference anyways.

Dammit Panerai, no one needs a 49mm PAM.

Well if they sell even one, then your statement would be false (and I'm sure they will sell more than one).

Prediction = not even one will be made. In fact I challenge them to try

Well first off, don't challenge them here. Send a letter to Angelo Bonati. Then maybe, if he's not busy, he'll reply just to tell you, it's not even near to the most expensive PAM Panerai has ever released, and they've sold some. For example, the Panerai Luminor “Lo Scienziato” Luminor 1950 Tourbillon GMT Titanio, which uses a technology called DMLS (Direct Metal Laser Sintering) to 3D print the case from titanium powder, costs $143,000 and I've seen at least two on Risti. :)
